Symphony at Oaklawn

We had my uncle's father in this community for 3 1/2 years and we were very pleased with his care there. Management is very caring, everyone on the staff seems to know what's going on in your family so that they can relate to it and I just don't think there could be a better place. The dining is very good and the activities offered are good as well.

My mom moved into this communtiy because the place was nice and Kim, the sales and marketing director was very helpful. I loved her. Management has been as helpful as they can be. I have eated with my mom once and the food was great. She likes the food. This community offers a lot of activities and I have noticed that her room is kept clean. The building is very well kept. We needed a screwdriver when moving mom in, and Kim was able to get one for us. The caregivers at this community are great. Everyone I have run into is very nice. I am really pleased with this community and I do not feel like I could have found her a better place to live. She likes it here so I am happy.

My aunt has lived there coming up on four years in May and we've been blessed overall. Cindy, on the management team, she's in there all the time and just really goes out of her way. Really, all the managers go out of their way for the residents. From what activities my aunt has done, I'd say they're good. Housekeeping is good, they do a good job, and the building looks good, it's in good shape. I'd say most of the caregivers are good, I know they help keep my aunt safe and comfortable. I think they do a wonderful job for the most part on a daily basis.

We liked the place when we went in, it's very nice, clean and the people were friendly. It was what my mother-in-law needed. The management staff has just bent over backwards and been great. The food looks wonderful every time I have seen it and the housekeeping services have been fine. My mother-in-law is a very hard person to please and she seems to be happy, which is good. We are overall satisfied with the price for the services and accommodations.

I went to different communities and was pleased with what the staff had told me. We tried the Symphony at Oaklawn and we've been pleased. My husband likes almost everything in the dining room. He does go to Happy Hour and the music and enjoys that. The caretakers and health department has been good. Everything seems to be okay.

Everything seems to go all right. The food is very good and activities are excellent. The housekeeping is excellent. I had a leaky sink and I had a problem with a light in the closet. I told them about it and they fixed the issues in a timely manner. The building is amazing. My daughter-in-law has mentioned that it smells just like I walked into my own home. I am very pleased with it. I do not see how the care could be any better.

Everything has been great. Everyone has gone above and beyond to make it a smooth transition for my mom. Carolyn and Monique are always going above and beyond. When they plan something, it's always very nice. They try to keep the residents engaged. They do a weekly outing, and then once a month they take the residents out to dinner. The nurses and aides are great. The nurses and aides are great. Shaun is the charge nurse, and I see him all of the time. If I ever have questions, I can text him. The management, I love them, they're great. They're doing a fantastic job. I'm in contact with them pretty regularly.

The meal on Father's Day was delicious. My wife likes the activities. The laundry is very good. The building looks wonderful. There are no odors. The aides are wonderful. Everything is good.

In the Lousiville market it is very well priced. I have looked at all the prices of every place; I think the prices here are very fair. The lady that runs the exercise program seems to be real nice. The place is cleaner than other communities. I have a one bedroom apartment which is more than I need. I have seen every place in Louisville and I think this is a great place. It is a beautiful place. It is extremely attractive, well designed and it is roomy. It is at the top in Louisville. I think what I have seen of the nurses they really do a super job. Anybody that needs a combination of private care and memory care this would be the best place for them.
