Symphony at Richmond

The value is very good there. They are much more reasonable than other places. My wife likes her apartment and she feels safe and comfortable at this community. Management is very good. They seem to be on the ball. The food is tasty and they have interesting combinations of food. The service in the dining room is usually pretty on the ball. My wife enjoys the musical activities. Housekeeping keeps my wifes room very clean. The caregivers are very helpful, which I appreciate a lot.

My sister has lived at Symphony at Richmond for over 17 years. Everyone is great there and if we ever have a concern they definitely address it. She seems to enjoy the food a lot and they have special meals for Thanksgiving and holidays so they make it special for them and invite their families. She also enjoys the activities. Her room always looks nice. She's been there quite a long time. They all know Dena in nursing and it's like a little family for her. The care staff are good about calling us if she falls, very quick to let us know. I work in the nursing home industry, I'm a regional finance director for skilled nursing and long term care nursing so I know the cost of everything and think the value is good.

We've been pretty satisfied. They changed directors the day we were moving in. They honored everything that we were promised and so far we've been happy. Everybody seems to be nice to her and she seems to enjoy the nurses and people there. They offer plenty of activities, it's just taking a bit for my mom to get involved. Overall, I think everything is okay.

My friend is very comfortable. If management has a problem, they call me. She falls out of bed, anything, they call me. I'm kept aware of wherever she is. They've adapted to her. They know her moods better than I. She's been there long enough they know they have to sing and dance to get her to do things. Her clothes are washed and her room is clean. I don't think they could do any better with activities. They're all just great.

Those maintenance guys work hard, they're always cleaning. There is a consistent care staff, good people, and hopefully it can stay that way. The caretakers are very respectful and very kind, everyone on the second floor is really helpful. All the people on the second floor are great, they're a great team. I would say the service is very good here.
