Terazza of Cheviot Hills

I stayed her following hip replacement surgery and it was a good place to do rehab. I was three weeks ahead in my recovery because of the care that I received here. They were always checking on me. The dining room made the food that I was told to eat following surgery. I also used the transportation to go to a doctor appointment and that worked out well.

We enjoyed it very much when we visited, seeing the cleanliness of the place, the level of care, so we went with Terraza. Management was efficient; everything was explained very clearly, it was very professionally done. My mother says the food is pretty good, she likes the coffee shop and tea; I think the dining has been a good experience. Housekeeping is very good, they vacuum and keep the bathroom clean; the place is very clean and smells clean, everything is in good repair. The care itself has been very good, the nurse comes regularly, and the nursing has been solid.

The management is very good and the director is very good. In regards to the activities, there is something going on all the time. There is never a dull moment there. She might listen to lectures and music and she might play bingo. My sister’s room is clean. I see them return her laundry and folded. The housekeeping staff is very nice. The maintenance man was very helpful to her. The building is good too. My sister is very happy there and I am very thankful for that. I am happy for the socialism that she has there. The care staff is more than willing to be very helpful. If someone pulls their chain in their room they are right there. I have been to other Meridians but the Cheviot Hills was a very cheerful and inviting place for her to live.

I feel like the value here is pretty good. She is comfortable and she has expressed that she likes it there. My aunt likes she can sit around and people can come and talk to her. I feel like it is a lot safer for her. I think the people working there are so nice and pleasant. The maintenance staff will tell people when things are going wrong. They are good about bringing in a fan when there is something wrong with the air conditioning and it is getting too hot in their rooms. They have been sprucing it up. They are painting the outside of the building. Everything looks like they are trying to make it look nicer and up to date. The care staff seems to be doing the best they can.

All of the family really likes the management. They have really good staff there and they really treat my mom respectfully and they seem to genuinely like her, they're just good folks. I hope the owners of this place appreciate that they have such good staff. The care staff is first rate, you have good people there. They're over worked and underpaid but they're good people. The servers try really hard as well. The service is wonderful and the lady that serves the meals is very patient and efficient.

The management go beyond my expectations in trying to make my dad feel more comfortable there. They have been great. I know there is wide range of activities. Every time I go there it seems well kept. I have been happy with Terazza; it has been good.

Terraza of Cheviot Hills is a really nice place for my uncle to be. I did some shopping around before I took him there and I thought the prices were very fair. I think the management is pretty good at listening to my uncle's needs and the food is very, very good. I have eaten there occasionally myself for special occasions and all the times that I am there, they are attentive to his needs. They have reached out to him, taking advantage of his public speaking ability, so he has had joke sessions and really enjoys doing them, the residents enjoying them too. The housekeeping and laundry appears to be fine, the bathroom is always very clean and the room is kept neat. The community itself is well maintained and during the time before Terazza owned it, they did a really nice upgrade in terms of upgrading the inside. Now that Terazza are the owners, the outside has been perked up and it's looking much better. The healthcare staff has also been very good to my uncle. I deal with them because I am in charge of getting his medications from the Doctor and I have had a great relationship with them. Overall, I am pleased with the community and if I were in the same circumstance, I could live there quite comfortably.
