Walden Place

Management is very good. They really look out for us. They run things well, lots of entertainment. There have been some changes, there's a new director and he's working to make a lot of improvements. Activities are very good. They have bingo, exercise, and quite a few different things. Housekeeping is very good. The facility is really well kept. The caregivers are very good, respectful, and attentive. I'd highly recommend it because .y wife is really pleased.

I think the overall care is good. I see a progression of them getting new staff and things improving. They have a lot of activities available and the variation of things they have is good. Maintenance is great. They come right down. It's very impressive when you come through the building. Housekeeping does a very good job. The routine is good because my mother-in-law knows what days she has laundry or is getting her room cleaned. They stick to the schedule.

The management staff was all very personable and available for me. They were all brand new so some of them had to research some of their answers when I asked. My dad always seems to have enough to eat and likes his meals. I know a couple times I was there they had musical things come in but he wasn't able to really participate in a lot of the activities like the yoga and things so I really didn't experience those. His room was always clean and the housekeeper Laurie was excellent. She was always friendly and helpful, we loved her. The caregivers seemed to like their job and do it well when they knew what they were doing.

If you want to go someplace to be taken care of and enjoy life, go there. My mom loves it there. She told me she is absolutely having a blast, loves it and has made friends. She sounds like she's in another world. I've never seen her this happy. Everybody I talked to was just absolutely so helpful and caring. Even when I've called with questions they've been so helpful and friendly. I call it a five star restaurant. I ate one meal with her and it was literally so yummy and it was just the right portion. She's been going to different activities, playing bingo and winning candy bars. She's been very happy with the housekeeping. Her care has been great. Everyone I've talked to has said my mom is having a good time.

The staff here at Walden Place went out of their way to be friendly and useful during my visit, which I thought was exceptionally good. Everyone has been very competent and helpful. very day they have a full activities schedule and they are very well attended to. Housekeeping has been excellent and maintenance has been very attentive. The care staff is very attentive and come rapidly when you need help. They're always helpful.

I had been given some information by some people that lived in the area. Some of my cousins work in the medical field out there and they mentioned Walden Place as a good place. I went online and researched it and spoke to Dave Capria who has been very helpful getting my parents situated there. My dad has been very happy with the food and has been doing a lot of the activities. The housekeepers clean the room once a week; have been doing the laundry and things look very clean. The caregivers seem to be very attentive and able to deal with my mom. I mention it to everybody that it's such a nice place. I'm happy they were accepted there.
