The Wentworth at East Millcreek

As soon as he walked in there he said it felt comfortable to him and it is a good value. We are very glad his room is on the first floor so we can go and see him in the window during this Coronavirus quarantine. The people that organize the activities are really friendly and go out of their way to help. Since the lockdown they have been considerate enough to come into his room to visit with him. His overall experiece has been very positive. I think they are doing a good job in a hard situation. When we have needed to talk with them they have been easy to reach and easy to talk to. You can tell they are going out of their way to try and help my Dad be comfortable there.

The management here was very accommodating and sweet to my grandma. They took the time to get to know me. They were great. The dining was also great. My grandma doesn't eat poultry but they were very accommodating and would make her something else. The servers were all very good to her. They had a ton of activities here and took the residents places. Housekeeping cleaned very well, the building is very well kept and the caregivers are great. We are very thankful for them and they were very good to my grandma.

I actually called the management the 'Dream Team' all along. They were really understanding and the communication back and forth was great. When my dad had concerns there, Hailey and Sal and everyone were really supportive and functioned really well. The activities were great, and Tara, the activities director, was amazing. Housekeeping did a good job. It is the first place that I have been where it always smelled clean. The nurse was great, and the prescriptions with Sal were always really good.

The care staff is very attentive and very caring. They're wonderful. It's a smaller facility, so it always feels very personal. My mom goes on outings pretty regularly. The transportation service is very available. There are a lot of regular and scheduled things that are available, and if she ever needs trips to the doctor, as long as she arranges it in advance, it's available. Everything is in working order. The building is clean. The housekeepers are very helpful and very kind. The place is perfect. There is a nice variety of activites. They are very engaging. The activities director there couldn't be more amazing and charming and sweet. She tries to make everything inclusive. The dining service is fantastic. The people are wonderful. The management team made it really easy to transition to the facility, and they've been very willing to help my mom with whatever she needs. they're very helpful, and they go above and beyond. The caliber of care is excellent, so I would say the value is very good. She feels absolutely safe and secure there.

Every time I have talked to the manager, he is positive, which I appreciate. When I walk in there, there is a feeling of friendliness and of wanting to help. I know that my dad seems to enjoy the food and likes it. My dad's room has always been nice and very clean, and the building is clean as well. My dad just raves about the care. That is one thing that he does talk about a lot, and that has been a positive. When we are walking down the halls, my dad knows quite a few of the care givers, and they know him. My dad seems to be enjoying it. I didn't think he would, so they exceeded my expectations. I am very glad he is there. I am completely satisfied with the Wentworth. I think we made the best decision for him because he is happy.

Haley is remarkable. She is so compassionate and caring and it is genuine. You just feel it when you watch her with the residents. She went above and beyond with my dad many times and I have seen her do it with other people too. She works hard to create a family environment. This community feels like home and I give a lot of that credit to Haley. The dining servers were very helpful and it was touching seeing them with the residents. They were very sweet and respectful. The new activities director brought in new activities and there was a lot of diversity in what she did. Her budget was pretty darn limited but she did the best she could under the circumstances. The housekeeping was fine and I never saw anything out of place or anything that didn't look like it was being kept up in the building. I felt like the people who were here genuinly care. They aren't here because it is a job but because it is a passion of theirs. We brought my dad home after being in the hospital for several days so he could die here because this was his home. That speaks volumes. We asked for some of the aides to check on him when we weren't there and there were aides who would sit for hours in the armchair next to him at night. There was genuine care and compassion showed to him at this community. He was here for 2.5 years and I am pleased that this is where he spent his last few years. I think we made an excellent decision to have him here.

It's been a good transition for mom. They made it smooth. The nurses are amazing, communicate well, and are on top of things. The aides are pretty good, and they all seem to care. Maintenance fixes things within hours. The lawn is well landscaped, the hallways are clean, and the building is kept up. Her housekeeper is in twice a week, and he does a good job. If we leave a message, the managers call us back, so they're on top of things. It's a pretty good deal. It's been a good experience.

Everyone in the whole place, they take care of my dad extremely well. My dad really enjoys the food and he thinks the care from the care givers is exceptional. I think they overachieve on the value.

She likes the activities and does a lot of them. Any problems she has had requiring maintenance has been resolved quickly and the building seems in good shape. She is very happy with the transportation service and the care staff seem to do really well with her.

I think the dining service is quite good, they have quite a few activities here and the building looks relatively well maintained. The CNA's are extremely good.
