The Atrium at Serenity Pointe

I am satisfied with the services and accommodations provided at the community. The apartment cleaning and laundry has been pretty good. We get plenty of activities and they're entertaining. The dining service staff is helpful and I am satisfied with the quality of food. The front desk is top notch. They're respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive. I feel safe and comfortable. Overall, I like it here and I like the people here, so I'm going to stay a while. We have the best place for this type of community in the whole county.

They keep in touch with me and they do a good job, especially the new management. Housekeeping is good. It's really a nice place and they do a good job taking care of it.

My mother has a good sized room, plenty of closet space and a big bathroom area. It also has an excellent view of the lake. I am very pleased with her accomodations. The CNA's and nursing staff approach us when we are there and ask what they can do. They are receptive to any questions we have and they seem to take an active part in my mother's welfare. They bring her food to her because she is in memory care and it looks like high quality food. We also deal with Carla in management and she has been fantastic. She is very receptive.

I have spent a lot of time at the community with my cousin and I have yet to see any staff at any level be rude to her. They are very kind and understanding with the residents. They always call me if there is an issue. They call me about everything, which I appreciate. I like that it does not feel institutional at all and they give the residents the freedom to move about the structure as they please and then they gather them up and bring them back.

Management was really helpful with the family and with her. They were really sweet. My mom absolutely loved the food. She called me after her meals to tell me how good it was. She said she had the best chicken salad and pimento cheese here. She enjoyed the few activities she did and the housekeeping was really good. She was impressed. They washed her clothes how she liked them and they put up her clothes how she liked it. She said they came by to clean and do laundry every day. I believe it was a great value for the money considering the level of care she got and she was definitely comfortable here. She said it felt like a ski lodge because of all the fireplaces. It was really nice.

Overall, the dining is fine, and my brother in law's condo is impeccably clean. He loves it and we love him being here. He loves playing cards and getting involved. He just loves being there. He loves being with the people and is happy. I don't think there is a better community for aging folks. My family thinks so highly of this place.

There is absolutely no comparison. Other than the fact that they're knowledgeable and attentive to my mom's physical condition, the care staff is attentive to her emotional state as well. The transportation service is very dependable. She doesn't have to wait for a ride for an extended period of time. The building is a resort. The housekeepers are faithful to my mom. She has activities pretty much everday. I sat down with the supervisor, and she went through my mom's different stages of life and found out what she loved. They designed activities speficially for what might trigger something in her, like flower arrangements. The dining experience is like being in a luxury motel. The cook and the staff come out and talk to the residents and call them by their names. They know what they like and how much they eat. The management team keeps me updated on everything. I have been able to go to them for pretty much everything I have needed. The staff is so good. I couldn't imagine that the value could be any better for what you're getting. To me, every penny I pay is worth it for the care and the love that she gets there.

Everyone we have encountered has been extremely helpful. We haven't had to worry about one thing. Everyone has been great. My grandmother has been really pleased with the activities. She has been involved in them. She looks forward to them every day. Her room is right next to the nurses station, which is a huge plus to us. She has plenty of room, so she was able to bring a lot of things from her old condo here. That helped her make it feel like it is her space. Before she moved in, there were a few things that she requested maintenance to take care of, and they were taken care of before she moved in. We were very pleased with that. The caregivers are wonderful. They are all great. We have been very happy with the price compared to what you can receive at other places. We have been very pleased and happy with everything so far.

The caregivers are really nice to my mom, and they really like her. They take good care of her. It’s a beautiful facility. The housekeepers do a really good job of cleaning her room every week. They empty her trash and clean her floors. They keep her very busy and they offer a lot of activities. The activities director is very nice and tries to engage to residents. I have no complaints.

The dining service was great. They recognized the residents special dietary restrictions and were good. That activities calendar was packed with a great variety of things. The fact they had that pontoon boat and could take them to various restaurants on the lake was a great idea. The availability of activities were great. I dealt mostly with Katie Mack, and I can't say enough good about her. Jacob, the executive director, was also good. Compared to others in the area, it had more to offer, it was nicer, and it wasn't institutionalized. To have all the services that they offer, it is a pretty good value. In my opinion, this was the best place for my loved one.
