The Atrium at Serenity Pointe

Everything has been very accommodating. The atmosphere is very atuned to older people. The décor is very antique and old school. I think the residents feel comfortable with their surroundings. It is elegant and rustic. The staff seems really happy. They were totally professional and answered every question. They've met every need and it is going great.

We chose the communtiy for my mother because it seemed like the best fit for her needs and we have been incredibly pleased. The healthcare staff have been excellent and the building maintenance is satisfactory. If the housekeeping services see there is a need outside of the schedule, they still accommodate and wash sheets. They do a concentration of activities and the food during dining is excellent. Management is very attentive as far as her needs, but they also listen. Overall, I think the price is very fair and it was a huge answer to our prayers. She feels safe, comfortable and she is doing well.

I like the director of nursing and that group of people there that I've met with concerning care. That was just fine. The results were oriented from me to them. It was a positive reponse. The people that bring Brenda her medicine are just delightful. They are really nice, empathetic people.The care and nursing is good. Brenda's air conditioning went out on a weekend. They were able to get in touch with the maintenance people and got an air conditioning service company out there. The Atrium was built long before Wifi and all of that. They put something in my wife's room to boost the internet, and that was good. I've had a good experience with the maintenance. The person that does the housekeeping there and comes in and empties the trash is a really nice lady. She is always smiling and always has something to say. She is very personable, and that's what makes a facility either great or okay, just like any other business. The people in the administrative office that I have been in contact with are good people to work with, and I do not have a complaint about them. I feel the value is there for what we spend.

The healthcare staff is phenomenal, and they have a really devoted group. The care is adequately staffed, and the nurses are amazing. The people who do housekeeping work really hard, and I appreciate their efforts. Looking at the activity calendar, they do the best they can. There is a weekly luncheon my dad goes to all the time, and the Happy Hour is vital because, unlike dinner, it's pure socialization time and really critical to everyone there. All of the dealings I have had with the administration have been fantastic. Any time I have wanted to talk to or find someone with a concern or question, I have never had any problems finding the right person. They're all willing to talk, and they're all very helpful. Overall, he feels safe, the apartment is ideal, and the important thing is that my father gets proper care.

Everything was excellent. The place was amazing. The care staff was always good to him. The transportation was always there for him if he needed it. The maintenance team was always there for whatever we needed They helped me get his TV going, and they responded promptly. The housekeeping was great. They have awesome food out there, and the servers were attentive and helpful. The management team is awesome.

We have a couple of healthcare staff that have been there a long time, and they are spectacular. My mother likes to get her nails done and the young lady driver makes sure she gets there. The vehicles look very nice, and she never complains. They maintain the building and it's a beautiful place. The maintenance staff does whatever is needed. They offer quite a few things with bingo, crafts, exercises and all sorts of activities. They also do special holiday parties where family is invited. They do a buffet style meal. If it's 4th of July, you'll get hotdogs, or you'll get tacos if it's Cinco de Mayo. The kids who serve during dining are miraculous. When residents come down, they keep track of who has been served and who hasn't, and they know her favorites. Overall, when people ask her if she likes the place, she says that if you don't have a house, it's the best place to be.

It was built as a resort and then turned into assisted living. It is a beautiful facility. He can walk outside and sit on the lake. It is so peaceful. He loves the Friday nights where they have music of some sort, food, and happy hour. They come clean his room and do his laundry every week on Thursday. They take him to the doctor, and that is great. It is a beautiful van that has their name on it. The care has been wonderful. The nurse has been there as long as he has, and she has been wonderful. The management team has been very helpful with my dad.

I am very happy with the management. They have always been available when I have tried to reach them. They are always courteous and seem helpful. The menu variety in the dining room is fine. There is a lot of variety in the activities. We get a calendar for the activities, and there are things listed almost everyday. Housekeeping provides light housekeeping, and they come every week to do that. The building is beautiful. The transportation is very handy, and the vehicle is in good condition. For the few times we have used it to go to individual things, the driver was very pleasant and knew where she was going. The interface with all of the employees that I have encountered has been excellent.

I am very happy with this community so far. The management team is fine. The caregivers have been very helpful and compassionate. They have been spot on anytime I have called or texted, and they have been available. When you consider everything that he is getting, the value is good.

The care staff do what they're suppose to, and they answer questions well. They're pretty timely on everything. The building is really well maintained. For what you get for the price, I think it's a good value.
