The Atrium at Serenity Pointe

My dad had gone and visited the Atrium with my grandfather before and he fell in love with it, so now it is time for him and he moved in. The care givers have been super-helpful in making sure he is comfortable and everything is taken care of. The TV he brought from home didn’t have the right connections, so the maintenance guys went and got him a TV that did. The food looks fantastic and the managers have gone out of their way to make sure everything is the way we need it. I do know it's safe environment. It gives me a lot of peace of mind to know people are there caring for him.

My aunt loved the food there and every time I ate with her, it was good. The staff was wonderful with my aunt and encouraging her, the employees did whatever they could to show they really cared. The general area always looked very clean and any time we had an issue, maintenance was quick to resolve anything. Transportation services were very good, they treated my aunt with respect and made her feel very at ease. The healthcare staff was excellent, the nursing staff that had any interaction with her were amazing, her main nurse was awesome with her.

We chose this community because Katie, in management, was very informative and supportive. When I visited the Atrium, I checked in with a couple of the residents and saw a pretty decent connection between them and the people that worked there so I appreciated that. We use the transportation services all the time and love it, it's perfect. The care has been good, they've been very respectful and Michelle, the nurse, has been wonderful.

The care my mom gets is pretty good; they are pretty attentive to her. The housekeeping does a good job with keeping her apartment clean. Regarding the activities, they try to do different things with activities. The management staff has been helpful when I have needed them.

We like the new management team. He has found some more responsible people and replaced the nurses with some really good nurses. He has made improvements.The building is nice and everything is fine.

I appreciated the mangaement team there and all they did to help us, they were very straightforward and upfront with us the entire time.

I liked the place because it looked very inviting, and it's an Alzheimer's home, that's what we needed for mom who just moved in. She seems to be extremely happy with the dining so I guess it's good food. The activities look to be consistent and well-planned out. The care givers are very good, always very helpful, and allow me to make phone calls. The maintenance men were helpful during the move-in, were very helpful, down to hanging a picture. Housekeeping has been excellent, that's been very good, and laundry has been good so far too. We’re satisfied with the value, and we know mom is safe in her apartment.

I am told the price is lower than you’d expect and it's a beautiful place. I'd like to live there myself, mom loves it. I think that the activities are very good and she enjoys what they offer and the food is excellent. Mom uses the transportation and I think she's pleased with that. The building is beautiful and we’re satisfied with housekeeping. I'd live there myself if my family were down there. It'd be on the top of my list. It's beautiful, everyone seems cheerful, and I know the staff is kind and cheerful, and never condescending.

I cannot say enough good things about this community and I am so happy that my dad is there. The staff is wonderful and it is a very unique community. I don't worry about him there because he is safe and comfortable here. I feel safe and comfortable with him here too. My sister and I connected very quickly with the sales and marketing director. She is just a wonderful person and has really gone above and beyond to help us with anything we need with our dad. She works very hard and cares about her job and the residents a lot. She is always available. The director of nursing, Ashley, is always available and helpful. I can reach out to either one of them when I have questions and they will help me problem solve or find what I need. I have eaten there and the food is excellent. The staff is responsive and personable. If he doesn't feel like eating in the dining room, they will bring it to him. The staff goes the extra mile to include residents in their planning. They have a theater there and he has a large collection of music and movies. They play his movies and music which he loves. They play his recordings during happy hour. Maintenance has been very responsive to things that we have asked for. They came into his room to hang photographs that he has taken and other art work. They helped us move furniture and I have driven past the van and it looks like it is in excellent condition to me. The care givers are wonderful. They don't mind talking to me when I can and they talk to me about issues and problems. They are great. My dad is getting his medications and is being cared for. This is a really neat place. The staff work really hard and care about their jobs. I am very happy with this community.

My father had special requirements and we wanted to keep him and my step-mom in the same building and the Atrium accommodated us. He is in memory care and she is under Assisted Living. I have eaten there a time or two and the food is pretty good. They do a nice job there. I see the activities calendar and it looks good. Housekeeping seems to do a good job with cleaning and laundry. The care givers are very nice people who seem dedicated and work hard. The value is good, it is a beautiful place, good food, and they're taken care of. Comparing it to other places it is far superior.
