Autumn Green at Midway Village

I chose Autumn Green for my aunt because her sister was already there and so they wanted to be in a community together, but I like the community and they like it, which is the main thing. The management is beautiful because they're really nice and they talk to the residents, with being concerned about the people's well being. The care is pretty good because the Nurses come around and when they came around recently, they had them re-evaluated to see where they were at. Plus, the Nurse's staff are really nice and professional, so the communtiy has been good for them. Everything in their shared room is nice, so I haven't had any contact with the maintenance staff, but the building looks nice. Her and her sister share an apartment together, so that is even better because they don't have to bounce around the halls to visit each other. As far as I know, housekeeping comes in to do their bed, cleans up and washes their clothes. Regarding activities, the community has a lot of activities posted and they have a car to take residents to Walmart, the grocery store or other little outings. Maybe they'll have more when the weather is better, but they also have a lot of different things on the inside now like shows, movie nights, physical therapy and different things like that. As with the dining experience, the dining room is nice, clean and the food tastes good, so overall I am glad that they're there.

I chose this community because it was the only one that would work with my annual income. Everything I have eating has been good and I am participating in the activities which is good. The maintenance is good as well.

My mother and aunt have been living there for almost two years, and they have activiti8es for all the age ranges there and ability ranges. There's always something for my family to do. They have good healthy options in the dining room for my family. Quality of food is also good. I have a care giver to help my family who says the wait staff serves quickly, and turn the dining room around fast enough to make sure food is served quickly. Maintenance responds quickly, and I had a couple of requests I needed for certain things and management responded right away. You know, from looking at apartments to parking to support I needed and they've been very responsive. We work with one of the offices in there; the physical therapy does a good job. And they always make sure insurance is contacted. My mother and my aunt are safe there, and comfortable in their apartment.

We are very pleased with how things are being run and we have minimal problems with Carl being there. There is a wide variety of activities there. Everytime I am there my cousin's apartment is kept. It is a good community and the services are great.

I love it that my father is there. I can't think of anything that I don't like about it. The food is good. They have people working there that help my dad get his food because he can't carry it on his own. He likes all the food. The dining room is lovely. The cooks are nice…everybody there is nice. They have wonderful activities but my dad doesn't participate that much. They had a Christmas party there the other day and it looked like a lot of fun. They always have something going on. They are just repainting it right now so it is beautiful. The housekeeping is all fine. Everything is clean. I think someone cleans every other week. Everything is spotless that I see. Every time I need help the maintenance staff come right up. Everybody seems to be a phone call away. The building is even a little nicer lately because they got new furniture in the patio and the common areas. They are renovating stuff little by little. It is always clean and looks nice. I really can't say enough about that place.

When I walk in to visit, everyone has always been wonderful. My Grandmother uses the bus when they go grocery shopping and when they go to activities, everything is really good with the bus service. I know the activities people are very receptive to suggestions made by everyone who lives there. I think my Grandmother is happy with the food. The happiest my Grandmother has ever been since my Grandfather passed is being at Autumn Green.

I like the morning stretching activities, the bible class, arts and crafts, and the psychiatry meetings they have to help with memory. I would like anyone to move here if they want to. I am very comfortable here. I got sick and rang the bell and they were here in five seconds. That I really appreciated. I don't have any complaints about them.

My friend lives there and I think the transportation is perfect. The place is clean and my friend's sheets are clean. She says the food and servers are good as well.

The care staff are on the ball. My mom likes the food very much and the servers are very helpful and polite. The activities are real nice, I've been down there to see them do the activities, bingo and things like that. My mom mingles with the people and they do exercises. The value is great and it's very nice over there, they're all really nice people.

In the past year my dad has been at this community management hasn’t been a problem; there's nothing about them he's complained about. My dad has good meals there and the menu choices are really good. There are available activities; he just hasn't participated in them lately.
