Autumn Green at Midway Village

For the most part we have been satisfied. Housekeeping is good. My mom is happy with the housekeeper who comes up every other week and cleans. She's very satisfied with that. It definitely is a pretty clean community.

My friend is pleased and says it feels like home so to me that was the best recommendation. She especially likes the services on Sundays and the fact that she has access to go to the stores and participate if she wants to. They have different activities on holidays and there is never any pressure. She says the food is good. She's pleased. It appears her needs are being met and that's the most important thing.

It's a great place. There's a lot of energy, a lot of wanting to get the residents active and involved. The whole maintenance crew is above board. It's a big building, a lot of residents, but you put in a work order request and they make sure they get around to it. The building is nice. They have a nice lobby and little coffee shop area. The servers are great. My mom loves it, raves about it.

The managers have been very helpful. Activities do very well. They have a bus and they have different things going on all the time. The housekeepers do well as far as I can tell. We have no concerns regarding the maintenance. I'd say the value is adequate.

The people that I have met they have been excellent and they seem interested and are good at their job. Everything was delicious and wonderful in the dining room. The chef was very nice. I brought in two guests for lunch and we do appreciate that. I had the maintenance man come in and remove the vacation lock, it was quick and excellent. The building is well maintained and clean. The facility is excellent; it is a star hotel for me.

The community has different amenities. It's close to grocery store and other stores. It's very versatile. There's a lot going on. They always have transportation to go to the grocery store and they are on point. The room is very clean, actually. When we first brought my father there he was in a wheelchair, and he can walk now. The activities have been really helpful in his progression. The management staff is constantly attentive. He has been very satisfied.

It's very clean and the maintenance staff keeps it up very well. My dad enjoys the dining and I ate with him and it was good. He really enjoys Daisy, the lady that helps him. She's very helpful. All of the people are pretty nice and accommodating. He thinks it's expensive but I've seen other facilities and I think the cost is fair.

It is reasonable and she can handle it. The front desk people and the people on the floor are the ones I usually talk with. I've called a few times with concerns and they handled it. I think the food is pretty good and my sister is happy with that. I haven't heard her complain about housekeeping or maintenance. I know they have a bus that goes to Target or Wal-Mart and she uses that. I think it's all been fine.

For what they do, I think the price is ok. My god-mother's happy so that makes me happy. She's doing so much better now. I've actually stayed at the facility and had no problem safety-wise. She is the happiest I've seen her in a very long time and that excites me. She's getting very active with the things offered. She's very happy with the laundry service. The driver is exceptional and the service is superb. The nurse, Carrie, is very helpful.
