Bella Vista

My mother is happy with her apartment and I think it's great. From what I see the menu selections are nice and they can get as much food as they need in the dining room. My mom's apartment is always clean. The housekeeper comes two hours a week, does the clean, and starts the laundry and brings it back later the same day, then changes the bed. I had a meal there and I thought the food was very tasty. I know my mom goes to bingo and she likes that. I've been to a couple Christmas programs, the madrigal singers are pretty nice. My mom is very happy with the activities, she goes to the Wednesday wine thing. The family is comfortable with her there. It's a short walk to the dining room, the activities, and there's lots of other residents there she went to school with so she's always reminiscing. I am satisfied, everything is pretty good.

. The community looks verys nice and in terms of activities, there are multiple layers to them. The availability is wonderful, including for those in Memory Care, and on a personal level, he really enjoys playing cards, so he is getting more involved. I have been impressed with the menus.

It was down to Bella Vista or Evergreen and Bella Vista had better apartment sizes, better meal plans and just worked out for the best. Management has been fantastic; they've gone above and beyond. I do think there are a great deal of activities, compared to other places, it's excellent, there is so many things she does with these people, it's wonderful. Regarding the dining, my mother seems to be quite happy with it, I haven't heard any complaints. I haven't eaten there but it seems lovely and it looks wonderful. The healthcare staff is wonderful from what I've seen so far, everyone is really doing a great job. Of course we'd always like it to be lower but for the most part compared to other places and for the size of the rooms and what's involved with activities and the meal plan; it's definitely a great choice for us.

My brother is happy and the staff are treating him well. They take care of all his problems. The management is fine. My brother is happy with the food. In regards to the activities, he goes to pretty much everyhting they have. My brother is very happy with the housekeeper. The care givers seem to be doing very good at checking on everything. My brother seems to be happy with everything that is going on up there and how he is treated and the food is good.

I like all of the directors. Everybody has been nice to us here. I like that they know our names. It has been a positive experience. The maintenance staff is working really hard to keep it up. They are very nice and very helpful. The staff is kindhearted. We feel safe. After meeting all the people and getting acclimated to everything we are comfortable here. I was glad I could bring our dogs with us. Not many places allow pets.

They're very friendly people.

They have quite a few activities and the staff always knocks on my mom's door to remind her of the activities that are going on. They have a good variety of activities offered. They do good housekeeping. I've never gone there when the public areas are dirty. There have been a couple of times when my mom has called maintenance when she's needed things and maintenance has always been good about fixing things. All in all, the value is good and it's peace of mind.

The management here has been good in dealing with us. Dad is liking the activities offered. The housekeeping services have been great and he really likes the maintenance guy.

I was amazed in an assisted living place it would be that nice. My mother in law has a nice view over Lake Winnebago. It is like a big hotel. I love the fact that they eat in a dining room. It gives it more of a restaurant feel and less like a cafeteria. They have done really well with housekeeping. The bathrooms are always clean. They have lots of activities listed on the electronic board that is in a couple different places around the community. I know she likes to go to some of the music things. When the Packers are playing they have the game on. They can be just as busy as they want to be.

I think it is a very safe environment. That is why we brought my mom here. The price is very high for her but I would pay anything for her safety. The work management does is professional. They are kind and meticulous. They are right on things and do things right away when something needs to be fixed. My mom says the food is very nice and the servers are wonderful. The activities are the best. She loves the coordinators Beth and Julie. No one compare to them. The housekeeping is very good. They clean in as much detail as they can and her room is always cleaned meticulously. The hallways are always clean and smell good. All she has to do is let maintenance know and they come right away to fix things. One time she didn't have warm water and they came and fixed that right away. Her door wasn't automatically latching and they came to fix that.
