Bella Vista

The cost was reasonable enough and my loved one had plenty of room there. Management did a pretty good job. They answered all my questions very well and right to the point. This community did good with the meals and housekeeping did a good job. I understand that maintenance and the caregivers did alright and the caregivers were easy enough to talk to.

For the going rates and the locality, I'd say this value was okay for us. I had no problem with the mangement team whatsoever. My mom said the food was good. I saw a lot of activities they had there and mom participated in a couple of them. The housekeeping keept the place always looking great.

My mother has been at Bella Vista for almost half a year now, and I am satisfied with the price, services and accommodations she receives at the community. Management is very attentive to my mom and when she brings things up, since she is smart, they always respond to it, but they're also respectful and knowledgeable. The healthcare staff is good, attentive and seems to know what is going on with the residents, so they do a nice job. Both, the apartment and building's maintenance have been satisfactory and the maintenance staff always has everything fixed as soon as you call. The housekeeping staff does her laundry and with regards to the dining experience, she thinks the dining is good. She is satisfied with the dining service and menu variety, so it's been a great stay for her at the community, and she feels safe and comfortable living there.

My wife just needed Assisted Living and they included me in that, so we moved in. The care givers are very excellent. The people who give us our meds are just so friendly. Housekeeping comes and cleans twice a week, I think. They clean and change the beds and do the linens in our washer and dryer for us. For the most part the food is very good and there's a big variety. There seems to be several activities, there's a calendar that shows all of them. Management here is very friendly and cooperative and very attentive. We had a couple of issues and maintenance came right up and took care of it. We’re satisfied with our apartment and so far the value is good.

Mom and I selected Bella Vista because Julie, in sales, is great; she's so personable and all good. As we were going down in the elevator to get one more load of stuff and the maintenance guy was there and we asked him to help my mom figure out her shades, and by the time we came up he was showing her how to pull the shade down. Isn’t it great? Love the guy. The housekeeping is spotless. It was super clean when we got there. The care givers are excellent. I do feel it's a good value. It's exactly the same price as the as her former residence, but she has a nicer room now. It is super beautiful and you can look out and see Lake Winnebago and a great big park. It's seriously beautiful. We're thrilled. We're happy we got her in there so fast.

I am very satisfied with where I am, I feel very well taken care of. Maintenance does a very good job and the housekeeping staff I get to know are very nice, they know who I am and say hello. I think the dining servers do very well.

There are a lot of activities going on here and a lot of people take advantage of them and love it. The dining and food are good. I think the care staff have been wonderful in caring for my mother.

We have been very happy we found Bella Vista. It's excellent. Her apartment is pretty good. In terms of dining, I've only eaten there once, but I know she's happy with it. I think the variety and things are good and are better than most facilities of this type. As far as I know, every time I come it it seems like it is very clean to the point of some areas, like in the lobby, it is very impressive. Her apartment is kept clean. Regarding healthcare, I happen to have been there twice when emergency type situations occurred and it looks like in both cases things were being handled effectively. Overall, I've been happy with it and as far as I know my sister-in-law has been happy as well.

My loved one has been to a couple of different places and this is the only one where management communicates on a regular basis. They were very thorough when we moved in explaining procedures, how things work, and timing. I think for many people that helps, it's an easier transition. Their overall orientation process is very thorough. I think for the most part the care staff, the nurses, aides, and med techs are all outstanding. They are all very nice. My loved one likes the food most of the time; he really likes the lunches and dinners. They offer a lot of activities. He is super-messy and housekeeping is always in there keeping it clean. I know the one maintenance guy there has fixed his TV and little things here and there. My loved one is comfortable there, the value is good, and he is safe. I think it is a little more expensive than others in the area, but the care is outstanding.

My mom is loving it at Bella Vista and she is pleased with the management at the community. I can say that through all of the other places that we checked out before picking Bella Vista, I think it's a very good value for the services and accommodations provided. She has a calendar all the time and is enjoying the activities offered to her, so I think the activities are well planned. Maintenance is very receptive and they have promptly taken care of everything my mom has asked of; I understand they're very friendly too. In terms of her care, my mother is pleased with all of the healthcare staff. I don't think she has ever had to press her button more than once and when she fell at night, they were promptly right there.
