Bella Vista

I have lived in the community for almost four years. I really enjoy the activities and try to attend everything they offer. They offer us a lot to do in the community and outside as well. We went to the apple orchard just the other day. The food from the dining department is really good. They give you a good portion and it is always real tasty. The maintenance staff will assist you with whatever you need to have done. The building looks really good, they really keep after it. The care staff comes right away when you call them. They are very good. In terms of value, I think it's good here.

I've been here eight years, and I like the fact they cook and I don’t have to. We have a lot of options, at least two different things to pick from each meal, and in the morning we have a Continental breakfast. Housekeeping, activities, and the caregivers are all very good. It seems like if you go down and tell the front desk you need something, there's somebody from maintenance up in an hour or so. The building, part of it, is 100 years old, this used to be a hospital and they did an excellent job re-doing it. I've looked at other places and all they all cost the same. Bella Vista offers more services for your money.

I can't imagine my mom being anywhere better. She has a corner room with bowed out windows and a view of the lake. All the people that run Bella Vista are wonderful. Not only do they know all the residents and their likes and dislikes they also know their family members. I eat lunch there once a week and the food is fabulous. Mom is a social butterfly so any activity that is going on she is going to participate in. She is up for whatever they are putting on. She likes her cleaning person so much she gives her a hug when she comes in every Tuesday. I looked at a lot of places before placing mom at Bella Vista and it was absolutely the best bang for the money. I can't imagine her anywhere else.

The room my dad is in has plenty of room for two people to get around in. He has the nicer side because he is closer to the bathroom. The overall appearance of the first floor is great because it has tile floors and newspapers sitting out. The care staff has been courteous in helping me get dad on a schedule and having his clothes laid out each day. It is hard to believe how nice and caring they are to everybody there.

My husband and I moved here in November of 2016 and just moved out almost two years later. I love it here. We're moving because my husband has to go to a nursing home. The management staff is very attentive and there is general love and care for the residents that we feel. I've worked in nursing homes before, and I've never seen the camaraderie and care the folks have here for the residents. The menu is absolutely delicious. They have a nice variety of different International dishes, Italian, Mexican, and Chinese, it's really good. I think Shawn is an absolutely fantastic chef. The activities are absolutely wonderful. Beth is so sweet and caring, and she goes over and above the call of duty. She's helped me with my computer and she always plans nice things for us. She does an outstanding job and they go out of their way to give the residents quality care and quality activities. Housekeeping a good job. They do a good job vacuuming the floors, washing the kitchen and bathroom floors, and doing odd jobs like cleaning the toilet. They're always cheerful and helpful, there's never a cross word. The caregivers are also always respectful and cheerful, never a cross word. The hallways are always kept clean. If there is a spot on the floor it's cleaned up. If I need maintenance for something they are always ready and willing to help. Jason and Chuck and Pedro do a fantastic job. I've enjoyed out stay here very much. The staff is outstanding, the residents are all friendly, and I love it. I'll be back.

It was local, we started off there but then my mother liked it so much that she decided to stay there. I thought we had a good meal and my mother seems to enjoy the dining options. She's got the calendar and it was full of activities, I think she really likes it there.

I have been here at Bella Vista for three and a half years now and the people here just go out of there way for you. The laundry is a blessing here in that the fact that we have our own washer and dryer in our own apartment. The housekeepers are good and they come once a week to mop the floor and those types of things. The Nurses staff and the Nurses also just do a super job of keeping track of medication and I have no worries with my medicine ever. It's always there, on time, the proper stuff and it's done carefully. These gals and the guys that come are just awesome. They fulfill my needs be it food, care or really everything. We just got a super staff here and they really go out of their way to help you, at least I have found that.

I've been at Bella Vista for seven years and I think for the most par the caregivers are good. The service in the dining room is also pretty well done. I have a good housekeeper and she does things just the way I like them. I think maintenance handles work issues very promptly. Transportation is great. I think it's a good place.

I have now lived here for more than seven years and I must say, the service is real good. The housekeepers do what they are supposed to do. They try to keep the building clean. The laundry is real good. They have a real good maintenance man here now. They try to keep up with the things that need to be fixed. If you report something, they will get to it within two days. They have really good care givers and med techs. I think I would recommend it here, I have been satisfied.

Management is excellent. I was able to join my loved one a few weeks back for lunch and the food was very good and the staff was very friendly. The activities are excellent. He does a lot of puzzles and they have a lot of entertainment. He has dealt with the maintenance people for a few things and they have satisfied him with what they have done. He speaks highly of them. I think he seems to be very happy with the care and services he is receiving.
