Bentley Commons at Lynchburg

They have a lot of acitivities, and it seems like everybody has a good time at them. They usually have something planned all the time. The maintenance is pretty good. We needed a few things fixed, but they took care of them right away. Overall, we really like the place and they have been really helpful to us. We haven't had any issues. Management has been very responsive. The transportation services are always willing to take her to her appointments.

I think she is being taken care of well, her needs are being met, and she is being watched carefully. So many of the staff are really truly loving people and not just there because it is a job. I think it is a wonderful facility. The food is absolutely fabulous. She loves the food. I can't enough good things. Everything is very attractive. It is inviting and looks well cared after. Anytime I have asked them for something or called with a question, they have been responsive.I feel very safe where my mother is. I feel she is really being taken care of. For what we are getting, the value is good. I think it is a wonderful facility.

There are plenty of activities if I ever feel like getting involved. We're very comfortable. I'm spreading the word in my church group that they need to come take a look at Bentley Commons. I have no problems with the cleaning. They come in every Tuesday. We got everything squared away. I have no problem with any of the management team.

I liked the layout of the place. If you wander you wander to a social area, there was more of a community feel. We liked that he doesn't have to move or lose his animals if he goes to assisted living. It's twice the size from where he came from. It's much brighter and bigger, we came from a place that cost more and we didn't like as much. Management has been very accommodating and helpful, they seem to genuinely care about the life of the people that are there. The food is very good. It's just a real social environment. They take him to exercises. There is a variety of different things. I think that's really great.

Mother has been a resident there four almost five years and she has no reason to be dissatisfied. Her apartment is perfect. Maintenance is very responsive when we need something fixed, and housekeeping is very good with apartment cleaning. The activities are consistently well-planned, and the food is good, service from the wait staff is good, and menu variety is good enough. The value is excellent.

All of the caretakers that came in to check on mom were very nice to her. I never saw anyone being rude to anybody. I liked the general maintenance, and there was never anything I could see in disrepair. The food was very good and the servers were very nice. I would look at the calendar and it was just filled with activities everyday. Everybody was very polite and knowledgeable.

Her apartment is very nice, good accommodations. The managers are always willing to help, they do the best they can to provide good service. Housekeeping does a good job and maintenance really keeps up with things. The care givers do a nice job, and they really try to get people together for activities. As far as value for dollars, it's very good.

The staff has been amazing to us, they are definitely beyond respectful and helpful. Jeff and Christie both went over and above, they were really great. The food was always really good, my mom was really happy. I thought the healthcare staff was all amazing, they just really take time, they're not rushing through people. I was impressed, it's not just the nursing staff, it's everyone, someone will make sure that that person gets taken care of. Everyone just takes that extra time with the families, they were so respectful and kind to each of us. They were there to make us smile and feel good.

Management is great and the caregivers have been very good. There are always activities and the people participating in them seem to enjoy them. We have been pleased with the housekeeping.

My sister chose this community because she could take her cat with her. Housekeeping is very good and the building maintenance is excellent. The wait staff is satisfactory and the staff tries to involve my sister in activities. The care givers are very courteous, they seem to be doing a good job. The service and the people are very respectful and courteous.
