Bentley Commons at Lynchburg

We're just very pleased overall with it. Mom's safe, they have the pendants they wear and they do a fine job there. I just couldn’t ask for better care givers. We have no complaints about the food, dining is excellent. Her apartment is fine, the housekeepers who comes in is nice and does try to do a good job with cleaning and laundry. It's a beautiful place and we are very, very pleased.

The management is very friendly. They know everybody and are very helpful. The food is excellent, and the servers are fantastic. The activities are wonderful with a great variety. The housekeeping is wonderful and the maintenance has been superb. The community is beautiful and spotless.

My mother was at Bentley Commons for respite and we had a really good experience at the community. The transportation was fine, maintenance staff fixed things immediately and there were things for her to do activity wise. In terms of her care, the healthcare staff was respectful, knowledgeable and responsive to her needs as was the management staff. I'd recommend the community to others without hesitation.

The staff is phenomenal, I couldn't have asked for a better place, I couldn't be happier. My uncle's room is gorgeous and the community is spotless. Management is great, I can get through to the nurse any time, they've been extremely helpful. The staff is all wonderful, they keep an eye on him and make sure he's the happiest he can be. They really go the extra mile to make him the best he can be, which is great. I think their activities and transportation services are wonderful, they're always doing exercises, painting or something, they intermingle.

The healthcare staff has done a very good job, they're nice to my aunt. I would say they keep it up well, it's always clean. Her room looks OK when I'm over there, I think it gets cleaned once a week. I don't see anything wrong with it when I’m over there. All in all, If we have a problem, we just call and get it worked out.

From what I can see it's fairly priced, is a nice facility, and she has independence. We looked at other places that monitored everything she did, she had to be in by ten, things like that, and this is nice because it keeps her independent but when she needs help, there is help there, so that's why we picked it, it was a nice fit for her. There are a lot of activities and places the residents can go and music that comes in, my mom has been very happy with that. The caregivers come and bathe her and from what I've heard they do a good job and are very nice and friendly, she feels comfortable. Housekeeping is fine; they generally come in and take care of things for her.

I’ve been here over ten years and it’s a very good outfit. It's good food and I am very satisfied with it. They have singing groups and singers come in periodically and things they schedule on a near-regular basis that feature persons on a weekly basis. It’s all good. I've had nothing but good support here.. Housekeeping is a good service and they do the rooms very well. I used to do my own laundry, but I recently turned it all over to them and they do very well. I am very comfortable with the value. If I had to move from here I would find serious problems getting the same service for a comparable rate. I am very comfortable here, both physically and mentally. I hope to stay here as long as I am breathing in and out.

I would defintely recommend it here as I am highly satisfied. The food is good for old people. The med techs give me my meds. I tell the care staff not to do anything for me that I can still for myself. I have no complaints with them.

I am satisfied with management and the quality of the food is alright. The housekeeping is fine. I am very pleased with the cleaning and the maintenance man has been great.

My mom moved in three years ago and she is safe there. I've only eaten there a few times but it was very good. She seems to be happy with the activities. She loves bingo and the auction and things. Any time she's had a problem maintenance has gotten onto it immediately. She had trouble with her heating air conditioning unit and they fixed it. She had them come and help with her TV. I feel they are very willing to help. Her room is always nice and neat when I go over there. We feel the value is good and I know my mom is safe.
