The Breakers at Edgewater Beach

The cost fits our budget and it's been a great fit for us. The building is well maintained and the lady from cleaning is great. My mom does the movie activities as well as a couple of other things and we're happy in the level of activity she is participating in. She is getting her food twice a day and they're fulfilling their obligations. Management was early on in blocking off the building and they seem very active in terms of their efforts to minimize the vrisu risk to residents. For our purposes, in terms of the rent, meals and activities, it's a great value.

I am very pleased. I think they are doing their best in the dining and it is very good. They are trying hard and the activities are very good. The maintenance staff are very good and if you have any problems, you tell them at the front desk they take care of it right away. I use the transportation to go to different stores and it's very good and they are very attentive to who is on the bus.

I moved out just because I wanted to live with my daughter. The food was so good. The way it was prepared and tasted was good. The coffee was really good. The staff in the kitchens and the dining room were wonderful and the housekeeping was so good. The building was always clean and people were always vacuuming. That was good. The value was excellent. This is the cheapest place that I found when I researched places. I am in an apartment now and am paying $50 more plus I have to buy my food. I liked my apartment. It was clean. This is a really good place and they take such good care of you here.

We couldn't ask for better, I am very satisfied. So far the management has been cooperative and informative through the Coronavirus pandemeic. We haven't had any problems. Right now, the activities are minimal, but they are giving her some other options, like taking two Campbell's soup cans and raising your arms for exercise. We were able to talk to the chef after we found out food was being delivered. We had questions about balance and health and the chef was very informative. He was able to share that with her and have been able send her things from the store next door. They have kept up with the cleaning and maintenance. I think it is wonderful.

I think the activities are well done. The public areas are always very nice, and the dining room is awesome. She's pretty happy there now.

She moved in there a couple of years ago. She's never had any problems with maintenance or anything. She's never complained about anything as far as the way the building is kept up and everything. She's very happy there.

Everything has been going very well and I have been pleased with everything so far. I thought it was a competitive price for what they had to offer. I do think it's a good value for what they charge, especially for living in Chicago. He is very happy there. I've had a very good experience with everyone I've interacted with. Gabe was the sales consultant, Emily was the Move In Coordinator and everyone went out of their way to help us and make it as easy as possible, including the people at the front desk. My father has not complained at all and I'm happy with the food. They seem to have healthy options available. He really likes to go see movies so he has been going to do that. I can tell that the carpet has been vacuumed and the apartment cleaned up.

I think the people who work here are really nice and really helpful, the food is good ther services are good and that's why I'm here. I think the excercise classes and food are both good, the place is clean, I think it's a very nice place to retire to.

My mother likes living there. The building always looks good. The flowers look good and so does the dining room. My mother likes the people who come and fix things for her. They also have nice activities, they offer movies and I have gone to see the magician.

Adam, the dining manager, does a great job of trying to engage the residents. He asks what they want to eat and he tries to accommodate them. He tries his best and my parents love the breakfast. The activities are great and the exercise programs are geared towards seniors. It is wonderful. There are so many activities that they can't get to all of them.
