The Breakers at Edgewater Beach

In the almost five years mom's been there she's done some happy hours, gone down for the musical performances too. She likes the music in particular. I think the activities program is very rich. I think they do a nice job there, my mother was recently hospitalized and we got a call from them. She’s taken the bus to Walgreen's, and transportation seems pretty easy. Maintenance seems to be pretty good. Mom calls and they come, and they change light bulbs and stuff. The building is great. I think the value is great. Housekeeping, two meals a day, she's safe, and she's comfortable there, The Breakers is good.

It has been 15 years since my aunt moved into The Breakers. This community offers tons of activities and maintenance does what they are supposed to do. From my experiences in the past, dining is good as well.

The management was fantastic. Lynn Miller was fantastic and always kept me in the loop. The lady that was in charge of the finances and all the management and the staff were very good. The guy that was in charge of the dining was fantastic as well. The dining staff was very, very accommodating. The activities were very good. My mom enjoyed them. She did the exercises. She listened to music and she greatly enjoyed the activities that they had for the fourth of July and the things they had down in the lobby. The grounds were gorgeous. They even had a dog park. Whatever we would ask the maintenance to do they would come up and do it. I thought what the Breakers charged was excellent for the opportunities and the service. She felt like she was going to a restaurant downstairs. I thought the value was excellent and the whole stay was very good.

I was there three years, and just moved out for a personal financial reason. I think it's a pretty good value, most of the food was pretty good, maintenance was prompt, and I was never bored. I liked the activities and there were a lot of things to do. Everything seemed to be running smoothly and people were very nice, I enjoyed staying there.

I'm starting my fourth year here. The activities are very good, and they try very hard to make things happen that please people. They do an excellent, excellent job. They take us on bus rides and things like that, and to art museums. It's very nice. Housekeeping is very good. I am pleased with my cleaning lady, I've had her since I came. If I ask her to do anything special she does that. Whenever I have a request of any kind it's attended to promptly by the management. It makes me feel good they attend to me very well. Maintenance put in a grab bar in my tub and they did it in a timely, excellent manner. I think that the price is fair. as I find the community very nice, I have no complaints there. I would recommend it at the drop of a dime. It’s very nice. When people ask, I tell them I am very happy here.

I think the price she pays is fair. The building always looks clean and well put together, my mom is very happy and loves being there. I know my mom has gone on some outings, she really seems to be so happy in her situation now.

My aunt and mother recently moved into The Breakers at Edgewater Beach and I am pleased with the value, I think it is priced well for all that you get included. Management has been really responsive, helpful and understanding, and the food is great because I had it too. I like the fact that there is so much variety because you don't eat the same things and the service is good too. They definitely have enough activities at the community and they're satisfied with their housekeeping so it's been a positive experience so far.

My dad has lived at The Breakers at Edgewater Beach for over 2 1/2 years. My dad goes to a Veterans group meetings and he enjoys going on the shopping trips. I would recommend this community to others because we are satisfied.

They're taking care of my brother quite nicely at The Breakers and the facility is quite nice. I think the value is good and my brother and I are very pleased with it. The food is very good, my brother is very happy with the menu selections. The calendar of activities is quite impressive. I would highly recommend this community to others.

Everything here is above average. The dining service and housekeeping are pretty efficient. I've had no maintenance service at all myself, but the building is in good shape. Everything is in good repair. I keep active on my own, but I hear conversations and people like the activities here. I do think it's a good value.
