The Breakers at Edgewater Beach

For the almost four years mom and dad have lived there, the bus shuttle, management, and the dining have all been fine. The activities they do they've really liked. My parents usually go to the movies and do some of the outings. Maintenance seems pretty prompt. Mom and dad are safe, comfortable, and are happy with the apartment, so it's a pretty good value.

My mom has lived at The Breakers for almost 5 1/2 years and I absolutely think the value is good. Management is very personable and they take care of everything. Maintenance keeps up the building and apartment. The community offers a lot of activities for the residents to particpate in and the food and variety are very good. I would highly recommend this community to others.

The management is proficient, the quality of the food is above average and there is a lot of variety in the activities. I think the housekeeping is quite good and maintenance is pretty responsive. All in all, I feel saf and comfortable living at the Breakers.

I am very satisfied with my space that I have here. I really enjoy the view of Lake Michigan the community has. The management team have been very helpful and responsive in making sure I was comfortable after the move in. I used the transportation service for the first time today and it worked out great.

My sister and brother in law found the place for me. It's very comfortable and I invited my friends over and they liked it very much too. There are plenty of activities and things of that nature to do, the music, movie theaters, everything is nice. The meals are prepared very well and I don't have to cook, which is nice. The food is very flavorful and portions are fair and the service is very good, they're right on top of things. The staff is very accommodating, the people are friendly. The management staff is very accommodating, very friendly, and they answer all your questions. I don’t see any flaws to be honest.

I think the Breakers at Edgewater Beach is the best bang for the buck. Especially if you want to stay in the city, because it is in a great location as far as public transportation. The food is excellent, there is a lot of trips that people enjoy and the housekeeping is excellent. My housekeeper cleaned my bathroom for me and she has a really great attitude, so she's been really nice. So far, I am happy with the services provided to me.

My niece called A Place for Mom and we went and saw it and liked it, it was affordable. What we get here is a lot compared to some of the other places. You get a lot of activities, the food, that's one thing that's nice about it is I don't have to worry about cooking and that's helpful. The management staff are so good, they're very courteous and listen to your questions and make you feel comfortable. The food is good and the service has been great. There are a lot of activities, they have very good entertainment. It's a good place.

For the most part there's a very professional staff, the activities, but overall I think the building is well maintained, my mother has a lot of resources at her disposal. I think the people are very nice and responsive. We have been pretty satisfied with the amount of activities and the condition of her room. Despite some minor issues, I would recommend the community.

My wife and I moved into The Breakers at Edgewater Beach just over 4 years ago and I would say the value is good. We're fortunate to be on the 16th floor and look over Lake Michigan. I'm very happy with Pat O'Brien, the director. I'm enjoying the dining very much and housekeeping and maintenance are excellent. There are many activities to do and on Saturday we have a trip to the theater that has 6 movies showing. We also help the Veterans here to get benefits that they're not aware of and we help facilitate a Wednesday evening Bible study. I'm very likely to recommend this community to others.

I have lived at the community for about a year now and I'd say for the most part it has been satisfactory. I haven't had any issues in regards to the housekeeping or activities. It has been a good experience.
