Brentwood at St Pete

All my services are excellent; management is on top of everything. I love the dining choices here, you always have choices, and the staff is all very friendly and will get us anything we want. They had music yesterday, they have singers come in and the transportation services are beyond excellent. My room is always immaculate here; they really take care of me. I love my room, you definitely get what you pay for, you get all these things, and you certainly get your money's worth.

The care givers are good, my loved one is comfortable there. Seems like the activities are good. I think he participates and I do look at the calendar. There's quite a good variety. He enjoys the music sessions. The maintenance guys there are very nice. When I ask for things to get done, like hanging pictures on the wall, they take care of it. He doesn’t complain about the food, and I feel like if I reached out to the management, they'd be accessible. The price is reasonable compared to where we came from up north.

I went to ten places and out of all the places, everybody was smiling, happy, all the people living there looked like they were in good spirits. Everybody has been helpful, caring and willing to listen and everything looked clean. They have patience for dealing with my father; God bless the workers. My dad has gotten better readings on his Diabetes because of the food they are serving, which is absolutely wonderful, just in two and a half week's time.

The management has been courteous and responsive. I have no problems with getting them to call me back when I need to talk to them about my loved one. In terms of dining, I think the food is okay. Here lately the variety looks like it is getting better. I see the staff being good with the patients. They do the best they can with the activities. They have games and the ones that can participate will and they try to find ways to include the ones that can't. When I need something and ask one of the maintenance guys they come and help. Everything always look neat and clean. They always decorate it nice and make you feel nice when you walk up to the building.

Stella does a great job as a Director. The people at the front desk keep everything going and they do not get enough credit. The food seems good and the kitchen staff is good and attentive. Overall the activities are good and the maintenance is good. There are only two maintenance men otherwise they outsource their work. They are always on call and are always busy. They do the best that they can do. As for transportation, the driver is really good and experienced. She knows the residents.

It is a very nice place and it is very well kept. When I have called the management has been responsive so that is a good thing. They have a new chef and he is excellent. The housekeeping is very good and the maintenance is very helpful. The grounds are very nice. Transportation has been needed and it is being used and it is excellent. The driver is excellent too. There is a new nurse Amy. I have dealt with her and she is responsive and she returns calls and that is important.

I'd imagine Brentwood at St. Petersburg is competitive for the area, so we're satisfied with the services my mother is provided with at the community. Both the Executive Director and the Director of Health of Wellness have been really good because generally when there is a problem, I can go to them and they get things fixed. The staff in the dining takes care of my mom really good and both, the quality of food and variety in menu have been satisfactory. The community also provides activities for the residents because I go once in a while to check them out and I think what they have offered is really good. With her laundry, the process goes very well and if it piles beyond what is up for the regular day, one of the aides will do it, so it's been pretty good. In terms of maintenance, there was a toilet issue and we let it go for about a week to see if it needed changes, but once we decided it did, they came to fix it, so there has been no problems with that. Overall, maintenance does a pretty good and in general, it's been a good experience for my mother at the community.

I am happy with the services and accommodations that are being provided to my mother at Brentwood in St. Petersburg. Management is respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive, so they do try. The dining department has a Chef there and the food is excellent, so I would probably go more myself if I knew ahead of time on what they're having. The community offers fun activities for the residents to do and they're consistently being offered, so the activities are satisfactory. In regards to maintenance, I haven't needed the employees for anything lately, but they're always there when I have, so I am basically happy with everything there and think she feels both, safe and comfortable at the community.

I chose this community for my father becuase it is close to my house. Management is great and the dining service itself is just really well organized, it's always on time, and spotless. His room is absolutely spotless. As far as the caregivers, they're very respectful and they're super attentive. There were really no problems, I didn't run into anything that held me up or that I was upset about.

We have a family friend who also has some of their relatives in Brentwood and they've been happy, we toured a lot of their facilities there and nearby, we thought the pricing and what they had to offer just fit my grandmother the best. The first contacts I had, Michelle and Marsha, they were absolutely there every time I reached out to them, they were really good with helping me find a place, tour the place. My grandmother is very happy with the dining, she likes that she's able to choose what she wants to eat and has been going to almost all her meals so I'd say it's very good. Latasha is her main nurse and she's excellent, she does great, she keeps in contact with me and everything.
