Caley Ridge Assisted Living

Management is there for anything I need and the healthcare staff is pretty helpful. They're here and ready to go. Everything works for me.

My loved one lives at Caley Ridge and I don't think the community raises prices excessively because competitively, it's still lower than some of the others in the area. Lately, management has been much more consistent with retaining staff as well being more accessible and reachable, so they have really done much better over the last couple of years and I am really grateful for that. In terms of cleanliness, the housekeeping has been pretty good, the laundry has been good and maintenance services helped her repair the door. In regards to overall maintenance, I think the building and grounds have been good as well. In fact they improved the appearance of the common areas in my opinion, so it's all been satisfactory. In terms of transportation, they just got a new bus, so she has been happy with that service. Overall, I am grateful she is able to live at the community because she feels safe and comfortable there.

I think Caley Ridge Assisted Living provides a lot of care, so my brother feels safe and comfortable at the community. I am satisfied with the accommodations provided to him and management is aware of everything that has to do with my brother, responding promptly to his requests. Regarding dining, the food is better than average and I am satisfied when I eat there, plus the food is also easy to chew which is good. With housekeeping, I know the staff comes in to empty the trash can, vacuum and clean his bathroom, so that's been good. In general, the overall maintenance of the community is pretty good and the sidewalks are salted during the winter. In terms of my brother's care, the healthcare staff communicates with me regularly about Doug's prescriptions and the staff is attentive to his needs. He has had a couple of issues to where he has fallen and hit his head, but they attended to him right away, so the care has been satisfactory and I am pleased with the experience he is receiving at the community.

Care Patrol helped us, we visited several locations and after visiting and meeting the people there, it was an easy decision. They greeted my aunt and made her feel at home even when we just went to visit the place, everybody came up to her in the hall, it's been great, it's been a wonderful experience. The food is good and my aunt likes it, it seems healthy, some of the stuff is really good. I've met Aida in activities and she's great, she's very engaged with all the residents. The healthcare staff there is really amazing, they really are, they're respectful to my aunt, they call me back right away, anything we ask, they've done, it's a great community.

I chose this community for my dad because the long term idea was if my dad had to go on Medicaid so the idea of him paying in and then being on Medicaid and also the salesperson, Debbie, was excellent and was super-duper helpful to me. Management has been consistent, very professional and they've been very respectful of my father. The food is great. My dad likes it and he's picky and the servers are very friendly as well. They have the activities calendars up and they do ask my dad to join in. From what I've seen it looks like there are good programs and it looks inclusive. The healthcare staff has done a really good job.

Caley Ridge was chosen for several reasons; I could tell right away the overall quality of the facility is top notch compared to anything else I looked at. The other reason was the staff, the staff is terrific, I've never seen anything like this, and they are the best. The facility is fantastic, the staff is terrific, and the residents are great. The dining staff couldn't be any better and maintenance is terrific, they've taken care of all complaints. The healthcare staff is the best, they go to extreme lengths to make sure I'm taken care of and my needs are met. Everything here I've experienced so far is above par, all my needs have been met quite well and I'm looking forward to a long stay here.

I think the value at Caley Ridge Assisted Living is fair because we get good services for what we pay, plus I think my dad is feeling really good about his apartment. When I ask him about the food, he always says the dining is very good and while I am not usually there during dining hours, from what he says the variety is good too. The community offers a good variety of activities and they do a good job with bringing in outside entertainment, so the activities for the residents are great. I think the building itself is pretty good because it has a nice and clean environment. With regards to his care, I think it's really good, so the community has been good for him there.

The management is doing very well. My mom says she is enjoying the food. I have noticed that the servers are awesome. They are really nice to my mom. The activities staff is always taking the van to the store or somewhere. My mom is always doing something. The healthcare is going really well.

I am on Medicare and Medicaid, so my price is greatly reduced, but I do think Caley Ridge Assisted Living is worth it. Management does a good job and if there is a mistake on your bill, they'll fix it for you. We got a new Chef so the food has been good, the servers are great and I think the activities are well done. I don't do a lot of them, but there is a pretty wide variety of things that is offered and that people here enjoy. The maintenance team does their best and the healthcare staff gives me my medications, which has been great. When I do need someone, I can ring the bell and the healthcare staff comes, plus all the gals and guys here are very nice, so it's been satisfactory all around. Overall, I'd say the community is a very good fit for me.

The value here is fair. Housekeeping keeps my loved one’s apartment clean. He tends to make a mess of things and spill a lot, he's incontinent, so he has a lot of dirty diapers and they keep it clean and his room is never smelly. The entire community always seems clean when I go in. I think the nurses and aides are doing a good job. He's very incontinent and they do a lot of his changing. I think they keep up with changing him.
