Caley Ridge Assisted Living

The management team does okay, they do help us notify my loved one if I can’t get through any other way. She enjoys bingo and the outings when they go out. The apartment layout is good. She is comfortable and housekeeping has been fine.

Mom has been staying there for a year and a half, and her apartment is perfect for her. I think all the activities are good, and dining seems to be fine. The servers are always attentive to mom. The bang for the money is very, very good, I would definitely recommend it. The whole staff is very friendly. When I walk in, they know me and say "hi" by name. When mom was in the hospital, they'd come by and visit her. It's all good.

My mother moved into this community because they took Medicaid. My mom did not want to move into a community but Debbie, the Director, helped me more than you could possibly imagine. This community does have activities and the housekeepers do her laundry and clean her room. They come every week for housekeeping. The outside of this building is beautiful. I told the caregivers beforehand that she was not happy to move in. They have made an effort to go check on her daily and get her involved. The staff is absolutely phenomenal. They are very caring and attentive.

For what you get and the price, this community is one of the best. When my mom has been in the hospital, she tells me how she just wants to go home which tells me that she is safe and comfortable. I have only met one person in management, Jake, and he is amazing. He is accessible and responsive. I cannot say enough amazing things about Jake. That guy is an angel and I don't know where he hides his wings. Jake helped me coordinate hospice to come in and help my mom. I didn't know it was for anything other than when someone is dying but my mom has dramatically improved. I can only credit Jake with helping get that coordinated. The food and cleaning of her apartment has been fine. Maintenance does a really good job maintaining the building. Generally speaking, they do a good job.

Overall we're very, very happy, my mom has a bigger room, she doesn't have to share a bathroom, she could stay in her room for Medicaid which was huge for me and her so that's why we picked it and the staff is wonderful, they're like her family. The front desk is so helpful, I know all those people like family there. The aides there are very good, they talk with the residents and are very sweet to her and take care of her needs. If I can't get ahold of anybody they are good about sending a message. The chefs are always trying to make more meals and the things I've seen have been very good. My mom always says it's very good, it's balanced and the staff is trying to accommodate mom's needs, they know what she can and can't eat, they're very much on top of that and try really hard. Housekeeping does really good, they work real hard, and maintenance has gone above and beyond. Aida's great with activities, she comes up with new fun things and has the place decorated to make it cheery. There are games and outings and they always have outings for things, they bring entertainment in, she does a great job. They're painting and keeping things looking good, they're working on the doors and elevators, the grounds look great. It's a good value for what it is, it's very nice, clean and pretty, they keep it up. Jake's awesome, he is the head clinical person there and he's just on top of it, he calls me back and gets things ordered, he's got very good communication. I see him all the time face to face doing double checks and the aides are fabulous, they know mom and keep an extra eye on her, they visit with her. They do a really good job; we appreciate all that they do.

While she was there, I think all of the residents seemed very happy. My mom seemed to really like the healthcare staff and they seemed to love her, I think they did a good job. Maintenance was friendly and seemed helpful.

My father just moved into Caley Ride Assisted Living and we really like it so far. We're satisfied with the price, services and accommodations provided so I know he feels safe and comfortable there. He occasionally goes shopping, the maintenance is good, activities and housekeeping are OK. Regarding his care services, he is happy with them, so overall it has been a pleasant experience.

The activities are very good. It is more then what I hear other places have. There is something every day even if she doesn’t participate in it. People come in and there is music and there is exercise. The care givers have been really good. The nurse Jacob has been very good and communication is excellent. Whenever there is an issue I can leave a voicemail or email and that works good. He has been extremely accommodating. I would definitely recommend it.

Right now management is excellent. The beauty of Caley Ridge is that things get done eventually. Problems get worked out. At this time the menu is very good. We have an excellent crew and there is a good cook. I am satisfied with the quality and variety. We have real good staff, they are kind and they really care. The housekeeping is very good. They work very hard. The maintenance is very good. We have wonderful people that are helping. They are very polite. The care services is good. I do use a walker but I don’t need assistance in the shower. If I need help I can get it. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. This is one of the best in Colorado.

My dad will be at Caley Ridge for almost two years and we have been satisfied with the services and accommodations provided thus far. When I call to check if someone can check on my dad, management is really good about that and they always have a smile on their faces. The people working in the kitchen seem to be very nice to the residents there and a resident can get something else from the menu if they want something different, so they really try to accommodate people's wishes. Maintenance on the actual building is always very well kept up and the laundry is always done nicely, folded and put away. Overall, it's been a pleasant experience for us at Caley Ridge.
