Cameron Hall of Canton

One of the reasons for moving mom here was the cost. We are very happy with the value of services we get. We initially chose the smaller apartment but changed when we realized how much stuff she had and management was very helpful with that request. She has a good time participating in the activities and going on the outings. She says the driver is very friendly. She states the dining, maintenance, housekeeping and care have all been good as well.

The building is very clean, neat and organized. The management staff has good communication and are always will to talk to me about my dad. They send out emails about the upcoming events at the community. The activities department provides us with a monthly calendar of events so we can join in if we would like. From what I have seen and he has told me the food from the dining room looks and tastes good. The staff have been very helpful with my dad from what I have observed and heard comments about. Overall, the price is attractive and it is nice and the staff were open and up front about everything.

The head nursing coordinator, Alicia, was fantastic. She was very responsive, compassionate and would call if there was an issue. She is an asset to this community. Pam and Sherie are wonderful people. There were a lot of activities offered. They have a great activities staff there. They are very caring people. Pam was great. She offered free nail services to the residents. The place was very neat and tidy. They kept it clean. The cleaning staff were very friendly and tried to address any issues. Anytime we had something that we needed help from maintenance we put it on a task board and they came to help. The maintenance guy was great. Anytime he saw someone struggling with something, he jumped right in and helped. Rebekah and April were stellar people. Overall the community was great.

I knew a lot of people that had been there, had a lot of family that had been there and always heard good things so that's my main reason we moved my mother in. I think it's one of the best places around. They all do a good job. She loves it and says it's excellent. The room is very nice and they did a very good job with it. They completely remodeled it before she moved in so we're pleased with it The management team has been great and has answered all of my questions. My mother loves the food and I know they have as many activities as they can possibly can and it all looks pretty good to me. Everybody has been very helpful and I have no complaints.

When choosing a place for my husband, I was just impressed with the cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the people. The administrative staff is excellent. So far I'm pleased with everything that's happening with him.

I moved my husband in because I heard good things about it. The other thing was it was the most reasonable I could afford. Irene was very good. She was very nice and helped me with a lot of the paperwork. The guy who does the repairs is a nice guy. The caretakers seem to be doing okay. I haven't had any issues.

My grandmother was only at the community for a short while but while she was there the management did a pretty good job as far as I can tell. Everything seemed to be very clean, her room was very clean when she moved in, and it was good. She said the food was really good. I didn't have any complaints about her stay.

Everyone we came in touch with while on our search for a new community said how great of a place Cameron Hall was. They really just make it easy for families and residents. It was just an incredibly easy process. I really appreciate everyone who had a role in moving my grandmother to the community. They were very helpful when there were things that I couldn't do. When I moved in I had stuff all over the floor and asked if I could borrow a vacuum, they said "No, we will take care of it". I appreciated them going out of their way. I think my grandmother appreciates having a bigger space, so I'm just appreciative of the fact that our money is able to get her something a little bit bigger at Cameron Hall.

It's a bit cheaper than all these new places. It looks fine; it's a nice looking place to me. I already have recommended it, my mother-in-law is in another community, and we're planning to transfer her up to Cameron Hall. The building looks very nice to me. They're nice people. Very nice, very professional, and very good senses of humor. Day one, medication was right on time; they brought them right to her. Everything has been going well.

I think the cost is very good. My mother's rooms overlook the courtyard, and moving in, the azaleas were in full bloom, she loves that. Management has gone out of their way to make my mom comfortable and happy. We went to the Mothers & Daughters Luncheon and it was lovely. They didn't charge us, her other place would have. She's seen the turtles, she loves them. Another resident there walked her all around and showed her all the grounds. Maintenance has been very helpful. Mother says the caregivers come in and check on her all the time, come whenever she needs them. I am pleased with everything; so far we are happy campers.
