Cardinal Village

Management is very professional and they always keep me updated on what's going on all of the time. I'm very satisfied with the healthcare, they're very professional and they update me on what's going on even if it's something that I was not aware of, they will call me and notify me. The activities are very well organized and they're very inclusive. The staff works very hard to get the residents to participate and keep them involved even with some of the challenges that they have. The price is very fair. Please continue the level of care that they're providing to the residents, continue like they're doing.

From the beginning the management have always been there. They do their job well and they communicate. The food is fine and the staff is perfect. Houskeeping is good. Maintenance is the best; they know know my dad by name. For a while he was falling a lot and they tried a number of things to keep him safe. I think the care givers are very good; I know they do a lot for him.

My husband enjoys the dining and the activities are good. Housekeeping has been good and the building is well kept. He is safe and comfortable there. They are good to the residents and treat them well.

Management has been very available and done everything that I have ever asked. They seem to be ahead of the game. My husband eats everything they give him and the variety changes so it isn't the same thing all the time. The staff is very good. The activities keep him stimulated. They try to get everyone involved. The housekeeping is fine. The caregivers are very friendly and kind. Overall, I think things are great.

The people at the front desk and the administration overall have been very good. My mom does all kinds of activities. They offer it and she is very happy to take part in it. The activities people are the most kind and dedicated people there. They do a great job and they actually care about what they are doing. The maintenance staff is very good. They seem to do a great job. The building is very well maintained and the caregivers do a confident job.

My grandmother's Primary Care had indicated that Cardinal Village was one of the better facilities in the area and she actually had volunteered there so that solidified the choice. Within the first visit we could already see her clothes had been washed and put away, her bedding is being done on a regular basis, so I feel like they're going above and beyond to reassure us that they are doing it. From what I see, the food looks fine. I feel like they're putting effort in with trying to get her to eat.

It gives me a lot of comfort knowing that my mother is comfortable at Cardinal Village. They just do such a good job and all the employees are affectionate. They give the residents hugs; they know their names and make it feel like it's a home environment, so it's a great place. Management is respectful and responsive, the staff is pleasant and helpful, and the food in the dining experience is good. She does quite a bit there and I get a daily log of what she participated in activity wise, which I love. It's very helpful because the days I don't go to see her, I can tell when she isn't feeling well because she will only participates in 1 or 2 activities, but if she is feeling good then she has like 5 or 6 activities so I really love the way they keep in touch with that. If you look at the calendar, oh my goodness there are so many activities during the day, including activities outside of the community, so they really encourage her to go out. She has clean clothes and housekeeping comes in once a week to clean her room as well as the bathroom. Regarding her care, the healthcare staff is very attentive and even when she needs something, I can pull the cord and they will come to help me with her so I am very pleased with the experience my mother is receiving at the community.

Since my mother-in-law has moved in I think you get what you pay for. The activities are great. They definitely have a lot of things to offer. The two ladies that are in charge of that are super and engage with the residents and do a lot to make sure they participate as much as they can. It is a beautiful facility, it is a very nice place. The care givers are very attentive and patient.

My wife lives at Cardinal Village and her apartment is quite nice. She has a twin bed, two tables, small sofa and a nice wardrobe, so we're satisfied with the accommodations she is provided. The community seems to always be well staffed, they seem to hire quality people and attract a lot of applicants that seem to be anxious to serve, so everybody is just forthcoming as far as I am concerned. The dining is very good and I don't think they could have a greater variety if they tried because everyday there is something different. We're satisfied with her housekeeping, the maintenance couldn't be better and I am quite pleased. Overall, I think she is getting the care she needs, so I have no qualms with the community and I have already recommended it.

The management staff is always responsive to requests and the healthcare staff always seem so caring. They always come by and say hi to my loved one, they all have comments and observations about her eating well or going to an activity or whatever. When they have an opportunity they're always ready to say something and she always responds positively to them. It seems like they try to involve her in whatever way they can and have her be present. I feel like the price is a bit high but they are very good for her and good to her so I feel like we get what we pay for
