Carriage Court of Grove City

I think the dining service is good and food is very good. There is enough variety and they offer quite a bit. It seems like there is quite a variety of activities and something for everybody. Housekeeping and maintenance are good, and we really haven't had much trouble but usually they take care of things within a day. Overall, the care is generally good.

I work closely with management, especially Michael Johnson. He's always very cooperative and he knows so much. He's so smart and we're so lucky to have him. Prior to the lockdown activities were pretty good. In comparison to people I talk to in other places we have a good representative there. Housekeeping is good too. We have resident council meetings once a month and nobody complains. It's a very clean place.

The building and grounds are kept in great shape. They do a good job with the consistency of service. The housekeeping does a great job. I know Jeanie who does most of the activities and those are great. There is a good variety of activities offered and they go on quite a few outings.

Carriage Court keeps up very well and they have good administrators there. The first time I walked in there, I absolutely loved Mike and Ray. I consider them friends after six months and I know they run that community very well. Everything is always looked after if there is a problem. Ray is very into making that place a home for the people there and he is very kind to all of us. The servers are very accommodating. If I don't like something on the menu, they get me something else. They bend over backwards to help. The care staff is very dilligent. The room is always neat, they take care of it. He has never lost a thing that I am aware of. They do each individual's laundry separate. He uses transportation to go to the doctor. They just got a new van and it's really nice.

The management has been very helpful to my uncle and myself. They are also very kind. If I had concerns I would voice them. I looked no where else because I knew other people there. I knew of their satisfaction and I knew of the atmosphere and that is what I wanted for my uncle. That is why I put him in this community.

I think it's a fairly good value. I understand that with all of the baby boomers, they're building a lot of assisted livings, and I think it's a very good value compared to the new ones that are up and coming. They're well staffed, and the care staff seems consistent. Overall, I'm happy.

Carriage Court is the best place in Grove city. Care, management, the people working there, I would not have her any other place. They have a fantastic lady who does the group activities and she tries to get everyone involved even when they don't want to do anything. She still manages to get them in there. I have no complaints about them whatsoever.

Management is very accommodating. The caregivers are very diligent with her. I have spoken to a number of caregivers, and they appear to love what they are doing. I don't sense that it is just a job ,which I appreciate. She is treated with respect in the dining room and is given good food. She likes the food and tells me that it is good. She is a very private person, but they have her doing the activities. They are able to encourage her to do so, which says a lot about their patience, professionalism, and how they deal with the elderly who are reluctant to do things that might be beneficial to them. This place is very tidy and has a nice smell. This is the best community she has been in, and I think they have ou tdone every other place that we have been. This is the best price out of the places she has been.

In general, we are pretty satisfied with how things are handled here. With everything she is getting here, I think the value is great. The director keeps on top of everything and really helps my brother, sister, and I. The activities are very good, and they have a lot of variety in them. The laundry is fine. The other day, something was wrong with the hot water, but maintenance was right in to fix it. The caregivers are doing pretty good. The newness of a community isn't what makes it home, but it is the people. She considers this her home.

The management always answers all of our questions. My mother in law is enjoying the food pretty well. The care is going pretty well. They are respectful and kind. Everybody has been really friendly and welcoming. I think she is feeling more at home there. I think the maintenance is good. It seems to be maintained. I think her apartment is a good fit for her, and I think the value is good.
