Carriage Court of Marysville

My mom is very content there. She wants for nothing and she enjoys it there and feels very safe. She is just very happy there and that's a big load off of our shoulders. The management has been approachable and proactive during the Coronavirus. Kyle recently texted me wanting to know if I had any questions or wanted to know about what was going on, and just to let him know. The activities are really nice and she said there always seems to be something going on. If she wants to find something to do, she can with folks there. And I know they're doing crafts because I see them on her door and in her room. The care staff is very nice and I think they like her very much. She's always kidding with them and they're always kidding with her. They're just great!

The food at the commununity is good. My mom seems to enjoy all of the activities they provide and they have a good variety of activities for my mom. They have enough outings as well. The maintenance department seems to do a good job. They respond quickly to work orders. The care staff seems like they are caring as well. Overall, it is a good value and fair price.

Compared to the one place my husband stayed at, this community is so much better and the price is a third less. The nurse calls us whenever there are any changes and they're very patient. The transportation services have been wonderful because I haven't had to do it. The building looks very nice and the activity girl is as cute as a button. She popped her head in to say they were doing Mardi Gras and had old Jazz playing, along with word searches for the residents and mask making, so she's wonderful. He loves the food and they also have family nights once a month where the dinners are delicious. Management has bent over backwards with whatever we need. Overall, he feels safe, comfortable and they are exemplary when it comes to not just the resident, but the family too.

There are people taking care of her and watching her so that is quite honestly a huge blessing right now. I talk to the staff frequently and it seems like they have the people they need. They all seem friendly and they are always around. They go and check in on her. They are very patient. They seem to be doing a lot of activities. They bring people in and my mom is a big participant in that stuff. She is always in their pictures going on the field trips and such. They just upgraded the community when management changed over. They did a lot of painting. I have seen the menus recently and it looks like they offer a variety.

When we were getting my Aunt in here, management was very helpful. They did a lot to help me and took the time to help me out. The food is very good, her clothes are always done up, and everything has worked good in her apartment. The caregivers are always very attentive and answer any questions that I have needed answered.

I think they do a good job of taking care of the residents and building. I think the people working there are very conscientious of their jobs. Mom's room is very nice. I think she has one of the larger rooms that came available. It is nice they can control their own temperature in their own rooms. I think she likes it really well. My mom likes the food and doesn't have any complaints. The building is always clean when you walk in there. The maintenance man does a really good job. If you tell him something, he gets it done. Belinda in billing is very nice. I really like her. She is always willing to help you when you need something. She is bubbly and happy.

The dining staff do pretty good. They always have breakfast, lunch and, dinner. They always have it on time.They always have a variety of foods. My sister seems very well fed. In regards to the laundry, they do her clothes pretty well, and they do it weekly. My sister always has proper water service and electric. Everything seems to be working when I am there in the building. They do very well. I am very satisfied with them.

The nurses are really good. The activities director works really hard, and she does really well. They have had family things that people attend, and they go down for music. I think they're doing pretty well. The maintenance man does a pretty good job.

Dad was in there six or seven years and the care givers are good, I like that they didn’t give up, ever. There’s a new Activities Director who is knocking it out of the park. The community loves their people, they really care and interacted well with him.

Mom’s been there four years and everybody there is impressive, it's a family atmosphere and we feel happy there. I think the managers are doing a good job.The care givers are great, patient, kind, efficient, work hard, work long hours, and are reliable. They really care and take pride in what they do, the aides, med techs, and nurses. The staff is their best thing, super nice and helpful, just awesome. It always seems clean, mom is content, it's a nice community.
