I really think the healthcare staff is great. The building appears to be in satisfactory condition and in general, the maintenance staff do a good job. My sister and her friends that eat together think the food is great, but they also like the different menus available.

We worked with a care advisor and she had done some research and recommended this facility. I think it is a good space and his window overlooks the courtyard. He hasn't complained about anything. His room looks clean and the rest of the facility when we go there looks clean and doesn't smell. All in all, I feel that we had really good communication when he was moving in.

I think the value is okay. My mom says the food is mostly good. She definitely enjoys the staff in the dining room. She seems to enjoy the activities that are offered. Lisa, the activity director, is great. She hasn't had too many problems that required maintenance but the ones she has they have been right on it. The building seems well maintained, clean and smells nice. Everybody on the care staff has been nice and attentive.

My mom has been at Cascade Valley since May of 2018 and in comparing to what she had at her previous community, it's a better value because they do so much more than where she was at before. Any time I call and ask a question, management handles it, but they're also respectful, knowledgeable and accessible. She loves the food and the dining service is respectful, helpful and kind, so they're all of the above. I haven't been that involved in activities, but I know that mother enjoys the activities that she does attend and the activity staff is always helpful. The staff does her laundry and in general, I think housekeeping does a very good job and are on top of things whenever there is a problem. Regarding the maintenance, they do a good job and we've always had help if we needed something for her. In terms of her care, everybody is really nice and they’re very open to what I see or think what my mom needs, so it's been a good experience for her overall. It's a very homey and personable place, which makes a big difference, and I absolutely think it's the best fit for her, so I'd recommend it to anybody.

For what my mom gets at Cascade Valley with regards to services and accommodations, I think it's been a good value for her. She enjoys the food, gets along with the staff during dining well and I think they do the most they can activity wise at the community. She gets out and about, and they take her places, so the activities have been a big thing for her. The cleanliness of her room is very good, consistently offered and from what I see, things are taken care of at the community maintenance wise. The Nursing staff is excellent because they're very patient and there is a special quality to that aspect. I have also noticed their Nursing staff doesn't turnover quickly and while they get new ones in once in a while, generally the main body stays pretty intact as far as employment goes there. In regards to safety, I think they do a very good job with keeping their residents safe and really it's keeping them safe from one another, so the staff is just great with the residents. Overall, It's been a real good fit and she has even expressed that she loves being there. She likes the people and all that kind of stuff, so to me that was pretty good to hear given her state of mind.

After five years of my dad living there I don’t see the managers very often, but when I do they're always nice and pleasant. They do their job well, because my dad doesn’t complain. The community is nice. The meals are good, and there's good variety. And the staff that works in there is very nice, Lana's been there for years. Housekeeping cleans his clothes well and the apartment is always nice and tidy. The whole community is great. It's nice, we like it.

Everything the staff does down there is amazing, they go out of their way to make sure everyone is well taken care of. The dining is very good, it's very personal and everybody likes it, it's good food, it's really nice and a good environment. It's a great place, everything is nice, my mom goes on outings on the van, they go to parks, to the grocery store, it's a good deal. The staff is all so sweet, they're just loveable people and are so caring.

My mom was there for five years before passing away, that's why I recommended it to my aunt who’s been thee six months now. The managers are always smiling and things seem to be going well there. Things seem to be going smoothly, and I feel at home there a does my aunt. The care staff has been very helpful. My aunt has been in pain, they let me know so I can get her to a doctor, they are good at helping her get her feet up. They take her down to breakfast in her wheelchair so she doesn’t have to walk. Anything I've brought to their attention they do a remarkable job and make sure my aunt gets anything she needs. They got a new cook recently, and I think for the most part it's pretty good food. The variety on the menu is great, my aunt likes it. The cooking and stuff is good. My aunt can’t eat certain foods, and that's been resolved. I told the nurse and she made sure it's on the list for my aunt, no onions and no peppers. The servers are excellent. They usually have her tea and things set up before she shows up, they're really spot-on. I think Lisa, the Activities Director, her personality fits well with the residents, she knows all their names, and she is just a good gal. I know that when my aunt needed help with her telephone, we put in a work order, and the maintenance man was there the next morning and got it taken care of. He's pretty spot-on too. Housekeeping is excellent. They're very consistent. There was only one week in her entire time there they didn’t do her laundry, the washing machine had to be repaired, and they caught up quickly. You can count on housekeeping to come on the assigned day and do a good job. For the services, the care, the food, the experience, the value is good, the price is in the same ballpark as everyone. You feel at home when you walk in the door. My aunt is very happy, has made a couple of friends, and enjoys going to a couple of activities during the day time. I am pleased with how they care for my aunt and how they treat me.

Cascade Valley is a really good value and thankfully for my mother-in-law, it's affordable too. She loves her room and it suits her very well, so we're happy with the accommodations that are provided to her. She feels so safe and comfortable there. My mother-in-law likes the food and she really appreciates the staff. Recently we went for the Thanksgiving there and it was top notch because we expected it to be simple, but it was festive and the food was good. She enjoys any musicals events that happen at the community or the Bible studies offered to the residents and her housekeeping is always taken care of. The bedding is clean and when she was ill, they shampooed the carpet because it needed it, so that was very kind of them and they did a good job. The building is maintained well and the healthcare staff are fantastic. Sometimes she says that she is sleepy, so they'll remind her to get her meds before she goes to sleep and it's just the way you'd want someone to treat your family so I am very pleased with the community. Overall, my husband and I recommend it to people all the time.

Mom’s apartment is very nice, and she’s been comfortable in it for just about three years. The activities are pretty good, both planned well and entertaining. Maintenance is pretty good and we’re satisfied with the apartment cleaning. The care staff has been really good, so we're really happy with them, and I know my mom is safe there.
