Castle Pointe at Baywinde

I’ve been here a year and having spoken to the Executive Director I’ve found the Director to be responsive, accessible, smart, and polite. Dining is excellent. Food is tasty, good, and hot. Housekeeping has been fair, as has laundry. I do feel safe here, and I am comfortable.

I think management does a pretty good job, I think it's a nice place and my dad has been happy with it. Housekeeping is very good and there are a lot of activities offered. There's always Happy Hour entertaiment and the whole staff gets involved.

My loved one moved in recently, we chose it for cleanliness, availability, the surroundings, the environment, and people are kind and friendly. We’re pleased the variety and quality of food, and as far as I know he's happy with the activities. He's done a few things and is very pleased. Someone was in yesterday from maintenance and he was very pleased with them. I haven’t heard any complaints from him about housekeeping. His apartment looks clean and in-order. They did a nice job welcoming him, the residents and staff. He's getting the support he needs.

I chose this community for my dad primarily because of the location. I've only met Dawn in management and she's been wonderful. Dawn helped us with the move-in and all. My dad really likes the food. He's very satisfied with the servers and when he was sick they brought him dinners and he didn't have to go down to get it. There seems to be a wide variety in activities but my dad has not taken advantage of them yet. The activities seem good.

I get answers from management pretty well. If something happens it's taken care of and it gives you good piece of mind. There is no problem with maintenance. If there is a problem the maintenance guy is here to look into it no matter how big it is. The sidewalk is always cleaned, salted and the snow removed. The activities are great, I have no problems with that and I participate in the luncheons and the dinners, they're very good. I'm very happy here, I've been here for 4 years.

Given the market here locally I would say the value is good. I think the management is typically very responsive when you have a question. They are knowledgeable to any issue I address. They get back to you in a relatively quick amount of time. I think the food is okay. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The young woman that cleans my mom’s apartment is very nice and friendly. I think they do the best job they can with the tools they are given. When we have had an issue with maintenance they have seemed to be pretty good. We put a work order in and they get on top of it. She had a leak in her shower and they got to that really quickly. The common areas and grounds are fine. The gathering area is fine. They do a great job of keeping it up and decorating it for the holidays.

I haven't heard any complaints about the management; overall it's pretty good.My mom is in a group that does drawings that she seems to enjoy quite a bit, there are always plenty of activities to choose from. Maintenance was extremely helpful when she moved in, they've been really good. As for housekeeping, they do come in and clean for mom and she's pretty happy with that.

It's a nice place. My parents seem to like the activities. They enjoy the cocktail hour, the music, the scenic drive around the Christmas houses, they really raved about that. They just started using the transportation. It's very nice. The food is good and the dining room staff if is as well. They’re satisfied with housekeeping and maintenance has been very helpful. They don't really have any complaints.

I have been here one year and everything has been satisfactory and fine. The food tastes good and all the desserts are good. It's tasty food, and they try to keep us busy with activities. They have a lot and they offer a variety. They try very hard to fulfill your transportation needs; that’s very good. Any time you need help maintenance always have someone on the job to help out. We have pretty flowers by the porch, nice looking grounds. Housekeeping is very prompt with cleaning and I am satisfied. They do a good job. They keep up with their work. They clean the apartment once a week and change the bedding if you want and make up the bed. I am very satisfied with everything, I won’t say it's prefect, but it's close.

I’ve been living her for over three years and I think it's pretty safe. The kids in the dining room that wait on us are very good and there’s enough activities offered for each individual. I think if I need anything maintenance will be more than helpful. Housekeeping is good, and the building is always neat, clean, and presentable. I have no complaints, I'm okay.
