Cherry Park Plaza

The reason we chose this community was that it was a nicer place and the price was good for what it offered. The food is also good here and that is very important. I have only eaten there a couple times. They offered not only what was on the menu for the hot meal of the day they had sandwiches you could choose from on the side. The pies are excellent. She has hired them to do the laundry. They do it, fold them and change the sheets and everything. They are great. The activities look like they are fun and I have talked to several people and they say they enjoy them. The management staff is excellent. They are very respectful and kind to my mom which I appreciate.

I think the price at Cherry Park Placa is comparable to other communities, but the real advantage is that the community is smaller, so the residents get more interaction than a larger place. I also think they have done a good job of decorating the rooms, so my parents feel safe and comfortable at the community. Management has always been very receptive; they do a good job with the dining experience and for what my mom participates in activity wise, she enjoys what they do. We have participated with her before in making ceramic pots or being at the Happy Hours, so we think the activities are great. We haven't had any issues with housekeeping and I am not concerned with the maintenance at the community at all, so it's really been a satisfactory experience.

When you come in the appearance is good over the whole facility. I think the activities here are adequate. We have a new entertainment person and she is just getting on board now. They do an excellent job with housekeeping.

My mom is quite happy with the dining and I think they have plenty of activities. They cleaned the carpet when I asked them to do it and in general it's fine. I think maintenance does a real good job.

I am doing well at Cherry Park Plaza and think the safety here at the community is good. Management is respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and doing the job that they were put here to do. The activities overall are good and consistently offered, so I am satisfied with what is provided for us. I do my own apartment and my own laundry because I am very self-sufficient, but the housekeeping services are wonderful at the community. Everybody is really proud of the housekeepers that do other peoples apartments and take the garbage, so we're all really appreciative of that service here. In terms of maintenance, my apartment is all fixed up good and the building maintenance is satisfactory. Overall, I highly recommend the community, and I always do.

For my wife living at the community I think the costs are appropriate for the area and services. I think the food is pretty good, the service is good and the healthcare staff is doing a good job. The ones I have come across are angels.

I feel very safe there, it's welcoming and everybody is friendly. The dining is excellent, everything I've had is really good. They have activities and card games, there's something to do every day and I take the activity bus on outings. The housekeeping staff clean every other week and they do an excellent job and if I need anything, maintenance responds pretty quickly.

I think it is pretty good management. She has gotten good care there. So far so good. If Grace needs something the management will respond. In regards to the dining, she thinks it is pretty good. She gets two meals a day there. If she has a doctor’s appointment they will let me take a plate up to her room. They take care of her in that way. They have a lot of things that they do. I think she is quite happy there. If she wants to have a glass of wine downstairs she can have a glass of wine. She enjoys the entertainment that they have. She likes that they clean her apartment every Tuesday and change her bed. I think the housekeepers do a good job. She has never complained. From an outsider looking in, the building looks great. It is always clean and it smells good. The outdoor perimeter is always nice and the parking lot is clean.

The building is ok. I have no complaints about that. The housekeeping is fine because I see those girls work hard. They do a good job. The transportation is excellent. They take me where I want to go and it is done in a acceptable amount of time.

I've been living at Cherry Park Plaza for 4 years and I just moved into a different apartment. My husband has gone to a memory care facility that is not in this building so I had to move back upstairs. We have activities going on all of the time. They have puzzle areas, art classes, exercise classes and I think the activities is one of the steadiest operations we have going on here. The building is kept up very nicely. Housekeeping is excellent; they're working all of the time. I feel like I'm getting good services. I get my meals, housekeeping and I'm very satisfied with my stay here.
