Cherry Park Plaza

I'm very happy with the value when compared to other facilities. The price is good. As far as I'm concerned the food has been excellent. The management staff team seems to be very efficient about their work. I think the activities are good and they offer just about anything you want to do. Overall the community is good.

I think it's a good value when compared to some of the others. It's a small place but they seem to be doing just fine. They offer plenty of activities and really try to make everyone happy here. I am pretty picky when it comes to food and I think they do better here than elsewhere in that department. We haven't had any problems here.

Everything seems great to me. You can use the washers and dryers for nothing. Anytime I have called them about a little problem, the management staff have come and eased my annoyance with it. They do a great job and are really nice. They're always friendly and I'm perfectly happy here. Its good food and they're very accommodating. I have always picked something off the menu and it's well presented and you get plenty. Maintenance has helped when the air conditioner quit working. They took it out and put in a new one. I really appreciated that. I am perfectly happy here.

I think the community overall is doing an excellent job. The management staff is polite and knowledgeable, the variety and quality of the food is great and the activities they provide I enjoy. The bus driver in particular takes great care in ensuring the bus is ready, I don't think you could ask for someone better. I do my own laundry, but the housekeeping around my apartment is always great with the time they have. It's been great and I recommend it all the time.

The director of the whole facility is a really good person and is doing the best job that she can. Everyone there really likes her. She is a committed person. They have an activities director who has been amazing but she put in her notice because she is moving. I hope that whoever they replace her with has the same passion and compassion for the people in that area. I think the price is fair. Overall, we are happy. We feel that my mother gets good care. They are always full so they must be doing something right. Of course we want to have the best care for the price we are paying and I think that is what we are getting.

Management is excellent. We get very good care and I think the food is perfect. What has always impressed me since I have been here is that someone will move out but then they come back because they the food is better here than at other places. They give us a lot of choices which is terrific. The staff is good and they take our order and they are very polite. I think the activities are very good. There is a good variety to satisfy almost anything that anyone wants to do. We have a good maintenance guy. He does a very good job. I appreciate the transportation so much. The van takes us where we want to go. I think the care services are excellent. They know what they are doing. I am impressed with them. They take good care of us and dispense our pills and they are very approachable. I would recommend it to anybody. I can't think of anything that I would want to change. I am satisfied with everything. We are very happy to be here and we have been here for twelve years now and that says quite a bit.

Overall, I believe that the community does an excellent job. The management staff always knows what to do and what to say as well as I have full confidence in the care services provided. I also recognize that the housekeeping staff always does 100%. I have been quite satisfied and as far as I'm concerned it's fair for the price.

I would highly recommend the place, it's very nice and the staff is very cooperative. Everybody is nice. The care is fine, it's real good. The caretakers are very respectful. The driver is very good with us. I think dining has been very good and the dining staff has been very cooperative with us. All in all, I think it's a good value.

The management staff was very helpful; always there when I needed something. They took a special interest in my dad and I felt that. The building was always clean and decorated for events. They catered to his needs and his time. The women were wonderful and their housekeeping was spectacular. Everyone was fantastic. I told my dad I wished I lived there with the housekeeping done and meals cooked daily.

The maintenance staff was very helpful. For my mom being in independent, they did a lot to help her. I honestly can't say anything negative. If my mom ever goes down a level to where she needs assisted living, I would go back there. I think you get your bang for your buck at Cherry Park, it's good. The apartment was very nice. There are more modern places where you get less service and they cost more, you don't get the nice atmosphere. I think there's a better atmosphere at Cherry Park than some of the other ones I've seen. They took care of everything; they're a very caring staff. I think they offer so much and it's really up to the residents to take advantage of it. They have a lot of good stuff and really seem to be geared towards the age of the people that are there and their abilities. They are very good about putting notifications out about everything, menus, events, times of bus service, everything.
