Cottage Landing Assisted Living

I like this community very much and I think it's a wonderful place to live. I have advertised personally on my Facebook page to try to get residents here. So that should tell you what I feel about this place. The management is doing a fantastic job and we have great services, like activities and maintenance whenever you need it.

Everything is well run. We are happy with the food and activities, and housekeeping is really nice. Everything is so fresh and clean. The care staff are good natured and kind when speaking with her and dealing with her.

The management is great, and the activities are great. They try to get everyone that's ambulatory involved, and even those that aren't, I do see them speaking to them and trying to pull them in also. The care staff is pretty good as well. We're very, very pleased.

My Mom raves about the food and he times I've eaten there with my mom there was a variety and it was very good food. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they take them shopping or to hair appointments. On Friday's, they go on rides. I feel like there is more than enough activities for people in assisted living. You can make appointments for the transportation to take you to doctors and the care staff is wonderful.

When looking around, we thought it'd be the best place to put my mother and from what I have experienced, the value is really good. Every time I am up there, everything is neat, clean and excellent. The maintenance staff helped with the television and the building looks satisfactory. She seems to be really enjoying the food, variety on the menu and wait service. The management is real respectful and knowledgeable. I have seen them doing activities with the residents. The laundry service is good and it's consistently offered. All in all, she feels safe and we’re well satisfied with everything up there.

I really like what the community is offering for my parents. I deeply believe that the staff are caring . Everyone is helpful and very accommodating. We're so lucky to have found this community. The maintenance team is quick to respond. They are attentive. They offer a lot of activities. I love the cook. THe food always tastes good. I've tried one of each meal, and I've enjoyed it. My mom and dad have never complained about the food. As we get to know the management, I've discovered that I like everyone very much.

It has been an environment I could only pray for for my mother in this stage of her life. My mom trusts maintenance to come in and out, which I think is the most important. The chef comes around and talks to them and gets their opinion. The food I have had there has been great. The servers are very friendly, and my moms seems to love them. The options for activities have been fantastic. They did crafts, and I think they are going to a play tomorrow. I couldn't ask for them to do more or make more available. I witnessed how the general manager, Bruce, handle the distress of other residents when someone passed away, and it was remarkable. It made me feel really safe about my mom being there under his supervision with how he cared for each one of them. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Maintenance is very cooperative and the building looks nice. I feel very comfortable and safe here. I have a two bedroom and two bath apartment with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. I feel like I am walking into my home and I have my own parking space.

Management has done everything that we asked them to do. The dining seems to be pretty good. The food looks good, and my mom seems to like it. The activities are good. Her room is very spacious and clean, and the building is always clean. I have no problems with the housekeeping. We shopped around a lot, and this was within the price range that she could maintain, so I would say that the price is good. Mom has indicated that she likes it here.

The healthcare staff is all quite personable. They are always willing to help and always ask how dad or the family is doing. Housekeepers always let us know when they need to come in to clean the room, and they do an excellent job. They keep everyone busy with activities, and they keep things different. It's not the same thing all of the time. They try to keep everyone involved. They do a good job in dining, and they keep a good variety. As far as questions we have, management answers them promptly, and they're very personable. They work very well with us. Overall, the value is well received. It's a nice place and well run. When we ask him how he feels, he says it's a good place, which means a lot.
