Countryside Manor

The maintenance guy is great. He does what he says he will do. Management has been communicating better. When I call, they are pleasant.

The food is always very creative and delicious. It is first class and they are over the top with the variety. The activities director is such a creative person. I am overwhelmed by her. They will have musicians in to play accordion and piano for singalongs. She gets them involved as well as the family.

They have a nice variety of activities for any person who would like to be active or involved. In general, the healthcare staff is respectful, knowledgeable and both, accessible and responsive when my loved one needs them. There was one instance where a lady went way out of her way to provide a ride, so that was something that went above and beyond all expectations. Overall, if I compare it to other places, it's a good value.

My cousin feels safe and comfortable in the community. If there is a problem, the management and healthcare staff are respectful and responsive. The community is clean and well maintained, and both the menu and the calendar of activities display a lot of variety.

The management is very friendly and very willing to listen. The activity lady was always very nice and very interactive with the people who were interested in doing different things. The care givers are very friendly and when I called from home they were always willing to answer my questions.

The healthcare staff is knowledgeable and there is enough of them at the community. Management is respectful, helpful and always get back to me right away. My mother does crafts as well as some Bingo and she likes the ice cream during the dining experience.

Everything is as it should be in my mind, I am very well satisfied with it. Her room is great, she likes it, I like it, and it's laid out well. The care givers are very good, I think she is getting the care she really needs, and it has taken a huge load off my shoulders. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

We chose this community for my mom for the convenience of the location.Nicole, one of the primary care givers, is excellent, Katelyn and Dawn have been very good.

My parents chose Countryside for the location, Cheboygan is home to them. The managers have been very good. They answer questions, they recognize me when I walk in and politely ask me how it's going. I go past in the morning and I see them doing activities. It looks consistently like they go on. The caregivers are good. They're responsive, they know us all by name, and they share any concerns with us. The nursing assistants have been very good. Mom and dad are comfortable, they are safe, and we know the value is very good

My mom lives at Countrside Manor and I think she gets a good value. Management is friendly, the aides are very nice, as are the Nurses, so everyone has been nice and we haven't had any bad experiences. The community looks really nice and both, her laundry and apartment cleaning has been satisfactory. They offer activities at the community and she does participate in them. I have had food there for family nights, which seems good, and the service is satisfactory, so overall it's been a satisfactory experience.
