Countryside Manor

The management team has always been awesome to me with I have spoken to them. A lot of times when I go there she is in the office with somebody and I think that is nice they let her stay with them. I think they make her feel very comfortable. It feels like someone is taking time with her. I am very happy with how the care staff is treating my friend.

My stepfather is enjoying the food. He does like the desserts and the variety. I am very impressed with how well kept it is by maintenance. Everything is very nice and was the reason why we moved in there.

I think it is worth every penny we have to pay compared to where she used to be. She says the food is good. The lady that does the activities is so nice. Her room is always very clean when we are in there. She is in the smaller building and there are only about 11-12 residents there and she is getting really good care. Nicole, a caregiver, is absolutely wonderful.

My dad is Memory Care and he is fed well. He loves his bingo. Every once in a while he plays cribbage with other residents and some employees. He will come down for the singing. It seems like there is enough for people to do. My dad does what he wants to do, he likes to sit in his room and watch game shows. His apartment is decent. Everything with housekeeping and laundry is okay. Everyone is helpful in one way or another. Everything to me is run really well. They are there when I need them. It takes a special person to be handle these people. It’s all good.

I think the food is good. I am aware of some of the activities and my dad tries to take advantage of those as much as he can. I think the housekeeping is going well. I don't see any issues there. The care is pretty good.

It seems to me this is one of the cleanest facilities of all the ones I've been in. It is a reasonable cost, I wish it was lower but you have to pay in order to get decent help in a decent facility. I have no complaints about her room. She has a nice size apartment with plenty of room. Anytime I call management with a question I get a real quick answer. It is concise and to the point and what I need to know. The times I've eaten there they have served plenty of food and it tastes good. The servers are very polite and helpful. Mom likes the food. I hang in the background when she is doing an activity so she doesn't see me and she seems to be having fun. When my mom has a problem the care staff gives me a phone call and tell me what is happening and what they are doing about it.

Te food is excellent, well balanced and they have a wonderful variety.

I like the coziness of the community and he is content with living there. The caregiver in his building is great. He is happy with the food that is presented for him and he is satisfied with the service provided. I haven't had any difficulties with management and he says Countryside was the best decision he has made.

Th administrator is out there amoung the people. She listens to the girls. She is willing to make changes. The housekeeping is very good. I have a young man that is cleaning and he does an awfully good job. Gary has been in here to fix a few things. He adjusted the TV and put a clock on the wall. He fixed the sink. He is very nice. I never had to wait. He would come in right away. The care givers are very good. I haven't met anyone that isn't pleasant. I have only been here about a month but I haven't met anyone who unpleasant or unwilling to help. I have been very satisfied.

Security was a big thing to us, the price is fair and the apartment size is perfect for her. All of the healthcare staff is very nice and helpful, which is another big thing I look for. She has been there 3 weeks as of today and she has already been participating very well, so I was pleasantly surprised to see her get involved so soon. Everyone I have met has been respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive.
