Countryside Manor

We chose this community for my mom because of the size of the rooms and the newness of the community. It looked like a nice place. It seems expensive to me but the community seems nicer than what else is available so I guess the value is good. The food portions are plentiful and the choices seem varied. I have seen the different activities they offer here. It doesn't seem like she is every waiting on anything to be washed so it seems like they are taking care of it. I had some really good luck with the maintenance director. He was helpful and got some issues resolved in a timely manner. Everything seems to be good with the care so far. It seems like there is always someone around if we have a question.

My friend's dad is living there and she recommended it and says that she was very happy. It is close to my house and to my mom's house, so we moved my dad in. I know there are plenty of activities there. I know that my dad's friends go there and there are always activities going on. Looking at the activity list there is plenty of things for them to do to keep them occupied. Maintenance has been great. The care givers are all great people. For the most part there is enough staff. They do the best that they can and they are doing their jobs well.

I feel my mom is very safe there. She is enjoying the food. There is a new cook there and the food has improved since she came. The cleaning is absolutely fabulous they keep the place absolutely gorgeous. The caregivers are absolutely wonderful. I think the character of the staff is beautiful people. Terry the maintenance guy is right on the ball. I just want to give them kudos and I think the management is wonderful also.

As far as I know, the dining is fine. The food here is good and Mom is enjoying the meals. The activities are great. I think they have lots of variety. I am very happy with my mom there. I can sleep at night and overall it has been a positive experience.

My mother-in-law is getting good care and she is doing a lot of things that she didn't do when she was at home. She has her room which is big enough for her. She has a lot of things to do and she is active. The podiatrist comes in and the dentist comes in so we don't have to try to get her out for that. I am happy with all of that. She has never said anything that she doesn't feel safe. She is pretty comfortable there. Her room has always been clean and Gary from maintenance does a really good job. In terms of care, she gets along with everybody and she doesn't really complain.

I think the community holds value to me. The food is very good. I think it is tasty. The maintenance staff are pretty prompt at fixing stuff. When you tell them about something they are good about handling it. The caregivers my Dad has are awesome and they are doing the best they can. They are cheerful and dedicated and I am impressed with them.

We don't worry about my cousin at Countryside Manor, which is nice. Her room is the perfect size for her and she actually told me that she feels safe there. If I call with a question, management always answers and is very pleasant. The activity department is just fine there and I have noticed that there is a certain group of residents that do take part in a lot of activities. They take them on bus rides, but she enjoys Bingo or movie programs that are offered. Her room is kept clean and their doing fine with her laundry, so I am satisfied with the consistency of service. The maintenance is fine, they always pretty things outside and there is a very nice grand entrance, so everything always looks good. Her care is excellent; she tells me that they are in and out of there all the time. Overall, I am satisfied with the services and accommodations provided at the community. Health wise, she wasn't doing that all and within a month there, just by going to meals and having her medication on a regular schedule, we could see a difference in her.

Management answers all my questions and are very helpful. They had good performers for family night and seem to be attended by a lot of people. Everything seems clean and well maintained. The healthcare staff are good, they seem to be caring and available, they're helpful and are able to answer questions.

My mom was in Countryside Manor for the last year of her life, and they kept her safe and comfortable. The family events with music and food were all pleasing. There was a good variety of activities, from crafts to outings to music, the place was beautifully decorated and a lot of residents had a hand in that. The lady who runs the activities is friendly and happy. Mom's apartment was clean and the kept up with the laundry, and maintenance was very helpful, from the beginning. The building is very nice, and nicely decorated. It is a beautiful community and mom had a nice apartment. The meals looked good, well rounded, my mom always cleaned her plate. The caregivers always made her laugh and mom was well cared for. Mom was so happy there, which made us happy.

My dad has lived at this community for over three years. The staff here is very good. I think there is enough activities offered for the residents to take advantage of. My dad participates in the outings and he really enjoys them. I am pleased with services from maintenance and housekeeping as well. I think the communication I am getting has been good.
