Countryside Manor

While my mom was at the community I thin that the transportation services were wonderful. The driver was really interactive with them and they really liked them, he made it more comfortable for them. The Activities Directors were really involved with them and concerned, they were really nice people and really wanted to keep people busy. It was very nice, they were very interactive with the people. I would probably recommend it because the place is so beautiful and the food was good. It's a beautiful place and the food was nice.

My shoulders have been unburdened to a great degree having my dad somewhere where he is looked after. They always give me a heads up so I don't have to keep such a close eye on him. I know the maintenance guy there because he is also the transportation guy, and he does a good job of keeping on top of things. The transportation is working well for me. He gets to where he needs to go in the time he needs to go.There is one caregiver there who is on top of the ball and alerts me whenever he needs something. My dad has been participating in some of the activities, which has been good. They're jus ton top of things there.

I thought it was a nice looking community, and they seem to care about the residents. They have a lot of activities going on and they try to get the residents involved. Maintenance helped when we moved in. They moved something for us, and we requested a repair which they took care of right away Transportation has been really good. For the most part the caregivers always seem to be there for my dad and are responsive to things. I'd recommend it.

The accommodations are very nice, aesthetically pleasing, very spacious and the air conditioning is nice, it was great for my mom. The management staff are fabulous and have been very welcoming and very accommodating. I am very impressed with the people that helped us with the entry process. My mother is very busy and tired and I think that’s faulous. The maintenance men have been very helpful so far, there was some outlets that needed repairing when she moved in and they got right on it. Everyone has just been very friendly and accomodating.

They've got some very good care givers that we've gotten to know over the years. They have good care there. When my mother-in-law needs transportation to the doctors’ appointments, they take her to the office and we just meet her there. I would say the building is in great shape. Gary is always there. If she has a little maintenance problem, she goes to Gary about it. He's always been great about anything she might have. The room is always clean; they do a very good job. The activities director is outstanding. Robin's always been extremely helpful. If I have any problems, financial or anything, I go to her. She's been extremely helpful and taking are of any questions I may have. Whenever I've been there, the food has been excellent. If there's something she doesn't like, there's always an alternative so she always has plenty to eat. They take very good care of her.

I can't say enough good things about the place. Everything they did made it pleasant for the residents. The staff was wonderful. Anytime I had any question or concern, they were always there to help me out and make me feel better. The activities were wonderful. Even if there was nothing official going on, there was always something for them to do, like play cards. The building is beautiful and the care staff is just wonderful. Countryside is far above what any of the other places offered.

Comparing it to another place my mom was at, it's okay. Having 24 hour care is good peace of mind for the family, you're paying for that. From what I see and what I hear from my mom, the dining is very good. I believe it's a good variety offered as well. The housekeeping is pretty good and the building is well maintained. From her comments, she thinks it's great.

Management gets back to me promptly on issues or concerns. They're caring, friendly, and have a deep desire to help the elderly. They go out of their way; they're not hiding in their office. They’re visible and easy to get in touch with. The dining service is awesome. They're very prompt and friendly. The dining room is nice and clean. The food is really good. If the person is in their room, the housekeeper takes the time to talk to them, acknowledge them. I think that's great. Laurie does a really good job with the activities. I hope they keep up the good work around there.

They took such good care of my aunt. The caregivers really cared and were supportive of me, they were just amazing. They really watched out for her and were really there. It was very nice, if I have to go somewhere, that's where I want to go. There was usually something going on when I came there, like music or she would be doing artwork. The management staff kept me updated, they seemed organized and did a good job taking care of her. It seemed like it was really well run. It was very good, I was very happy with it.

The management is very professional. They're there when I need to call them and they're patient. The dining service is good and they have staff in areas serving trays. They do activities and there is involvement. My mom's TV remote needed changing and maintenance fixed that for her. The care is good. It's bright and clean and that's why we chose it.
