Eastside Gardens

When I went in, they were very helpful and kind, so I felt comfortable with my dad being there. The maintenance staff told me that if I ever had any problems at all, I can call and they'd take care of them. Otherwise, the building is very nice and nothing looks like it's run down. Housekeeping is pretty good, and the girl comes in once a week to clean. The activity director is very interested in getting my dad into activities, and others residents seem to have a good time. The dining smells goodm Management was accommodating at move-in. Overall, with the services we've received, it's better than some places I have seen, and I like the apartment. They do a really good job, and I appreciate all of their help with my dad. THey have been unvelievably accommodating to my dad with the issues he's had.

We really appreciate their level of communication and attention there. The staff is very well trained, kind and compassionate. The people are what make the difference for us.

We chose the community because it’s closest to my home and mom had a couple of friends there. She loves her room. Maintenance has been really helpful, they've helped her a few times and housekeeping has been really good. She has really enjoyed the couple of activities she's done. The management team is really good. Mom is happy with the food, the wait staff is friendly and they do a good job. The value is really good, we're really happy with that right now.

We looked at five places and this community looked good, the people were nice, the price was in-line with everyone else and it's close to home. My mother raves about how good the food is and the activities look great. Maintenance is good, the building and grounds looks good to me. Her room is always nice and clean. The caregivers have all been really nice to my mom and the family. Anything I've asked of the management, everyone there has been really good. I am really pleased. Everyone we've met, they've all been super nice. They make me feel like we’re old friends, you couldn’t ask for better.

The management went above and beyond to help me get my dad placed there. I appreciated all their efforts. I give them very high marks. Houskeeping seems to be great. Everything seems to be in working order.

We chose it for the location. It is close to my sister and I. It is smaller than some of the other ones where we thought she would get lost in the shuffle. We liked that it was smaller and more intimate then some of the bigger ones. The management has been wonderful. They explained things and helped us get things from the doctor. They deal with seven of us and answered all of our questions and they call us back. The food is very good. We had lunch there and it was real good. My mom seems to like it too. The service is great. They give them a choice, they bring food out and they say hi to everybody. My mom went to the church services and the musicians and the hair stylist. It all has been very good. The housekeepers keep everything clean. The building looks beautiful. Overall, it's very good.

It is very modern, friendly staff and convenient. Management has been wonderful. I've had a few issues and Johnny the director has been wonderful about getting everything set up, straightened out, talking to mom and making her comfortable. The dining staff has been very friendly and very helpful. They have a lot of different activities. When my mom first moved into that room the heat was not working and maintenance came in right away to work on that, maintenance has been very helpful. The building is very clean and very pleasing to the eye. You can't put a price on mom being safe, getting 3 meals a day and being taken care of. As far as that goes I would say it's a good value.

A friend told me about it and I went up for a tour and I liked the building, it's clean, and the staff is friendly, and my mom moved in. My mom loves the food, it's very good. And they have a choice of least two things to eat at breakfast and dinner. I am really pleased. She likes to go upstairs to listen to the music. I really like the interactions she gets with the activities. The care is excellent. They're attentive to her needs, they keep her room up and smelling fresh, they just take good care of her I am pleased, my sister is pleased. Housekeeping is excellent. They clean her place every week and do her laundry every Tuesday, I love it. The building is excellent, very clean inside and out. The management and sales team is very friendly, very good at answering my questions, and overall have a great attitude and smiling faces. They are accessible. I think the value is good, it's better than when she came. I like everything about Eastside Gardens. This is the place to check out if you're looking for someplace for your loved ones.

Management was always very helpful if there was a problem or anything. They would return calls promptly. They were very good. They kept them very busy with all sorts of activities. If you wasn't interested in one thing there was something else to do. My mother's room was always very clean. The laundry was done well. They did what they were supposed to. The work she needed done from maintenance was done promptly. If anything was wrong with mother the care staff came instantly. That was great.

We chose Eastside Gardens for my dad because we liked the feel of it, the staff seemed to be great and it was more affordable than other options. It was one of the first places I visited and while it was probably 18-20 months ago, it was pretty much the only one from that first round of tours that stayed on my list. I think management has been great in that they've been trying to get my dad out to do different things, they're helping us with the paperwork and they've been responsive. The dining seems to be really good; He gave me a piece of pumpkin bread and it was really delicious. I think there is enough activities offered, they seem to be doing the laundry and the maintenance of the building is really good, so it pretty much looks perfect. In terms of the healthcare staffing, they seem really great and helpful, so he seems to be enjoying them too. Overall, I think the value is great.
