Emerald Springs

Overall, I am pretty pleased with the community and I go in there to visit fairly frequently. I have been there for meals and I am satisfied with them. She has actually put on some weight since she has been there. The Activities Director leads them in all types of games and exercises. She comes up with all kinds of crafts for them to do. She takes them for walks. They have Happy Hour and sometimes dancing. I think she receives good care. Her clothes are always clean and I have never witnessed any injuries on her. Her nails are done from time to time. I don't have any complaints.

The food is very good, and they have been very good taking care of me in the morning. They have been very good about getting me a breakfast and a lunch for when I leave. The quality of the food is much better then where we were before. They even have a variety and a couple of alternates on the menu, which is really nice. The value is very good, and the apartment works out very good for us. The doctor is also really good. The building is in good shape. I was pleased. The housekeepers have been doing well.

When we do complain, the management is right on it. They are good, and they do call me back. They have a band that comes in and sings once a month, and my mom likes that. The activities are good there. I love the two housekeepers that take care of my mother. They are super nice to my mother. They are very thorough. They will do anything that she asks. If my mom has any problems, the maintenance comes right away.

Management was very nice, and the care is going very well. My parents think the food is okay, and they really like the soup. The first few times we went down to the dining room, the staff already knew my parents' names. That really surprised me. The servers have always been very nice. There are a lot of activities, and they look pretty good. Their room seems to be pretty clean, and the transportation worked out really nicely when my mom used it. I don't mind walking away and leaving them here at all. I think this is a good fit for my parents.

The management team is great. My family has had a wonderful experience working with them. The staff goes out of their way to help us every single time. This is one of the best things we could have done. Everyone is so personable.When I've called maintenance about an issue, they immediately come right up to help. The housekeepers take care of their needs. I've been very thrilled with that.

The management has been great. Every time we have gone to them with my mom's needs and a request, they are there. My mom is very happy, and she is enjoying the food. I have always seen the activity calendars, and when we come in the front door, we always see and hear that they are doing exercises or playing games. I think they have a great activity program there. My mom uses the cleaning service, and she is very happy. The ladies that help her clean are so patient with her. The transportation staff have been so helpful, and even if it is late notice, they try to make it work. The care staff is great, and my mom is always saying that they are so good to her. We are so grateful to be there.

Everybody was personable, everybody was professional. She would still be there today if it wasn't for the fact that her son wanted her to be closer to him. Management was great. She had no issues with the food, the variety was good. I had no problems with the staff there. There were a good amount of actiivites offered. It is affordable, I don't think it was too much with everything they do 24/7.

The management does a good job. If I don't find them I ask the front desk, who is super, super good. They always return my calls. Rebecca, who is up front, is absolutely wonderful. We couldn't ask for a better person.We are enjoying the food very much and the servers are very respectful. Housekeeping does a good job, and the building is clean and well maintained. The aides are wonderful, and they are very, very nice. The care works out very well. We are very comfortable.

Emerald Springs in Yuma is the best, as far as I am concerned, the best around. She gets excellent care and that is her home. My mother gets fabulous food. I've got no issues with that. They are offering her well balanced meals. The food I have tasted there is excellent. I've never gotten there and mother's room isn't clean. They do a good job.

Management left no stone unturned during the tour, and they were very patient and professional. As soon as she moved in, they addressed everything before we left. When we first got there, maintenance fixed everything we asked them to. Mother is always ecstatic about the laundry service, and the apartment cleaning is satisfactory. She loves to go to Walmart, so that was a plus and kind of a selling point for her. I have eaten there three times, and each time it was excellent. She loves it, I loved it, and my wife loved it. She likes the choices she is given and enjoys the food quality. All in all, the value is outstanding, any of the three rooms she could have picked are fantastic, and she is loving it. The biggest compliment I could give them is a thank you. They treat my mother very well, and we both appreciate it.
