The Estate at Hyde Park

The dining is great. The staff makes sure she is eating. The housekeeping staff are very good. They keep her bed made all the time. The maintenance staff are good as well. In fact, this week they pressure washed her wheelchair for me. The care staff are all awesome. They bend over backwards. They keep her with them and share their snacks with her. It is incredible.

The healthcare is excellent. There are a lot of activities offered, and my mom really enjoys when the musical people come in.

They have some very special people there. Kudos to maintenance, and housekeeping is fabulous, mom's place is immaculate. There's always activities going on and mom loves the food, that’s what counts. We’re very satisfied with management, the interaction with care givers is the main focus with mom and that increased substantially. She has a beautiful apartment and she's very safe. Comparatively it's a very good value, it's the best place in town.

Management is great and maintenance has been incredibly helpful, the building is very nice. There's a lot of variety of activities, she enjoys it.

Everything in the dining area looks great and it seemed like there was a fair amount of activities to do. My mother's room itself is in good shape and the hallways and common areas are always extremely clean. The general attitude and demeanor of the staff has been wonderful.

Mom is really happy, which makes me happy. They have been very responsive to all of my questions. If we've needed anything they have made it happen. The communication is really good. My mother seems very happy with the selections in the dining department. The staff seems to be pleasant, attentive and polite to the residents. There is a great variety of activities and they do a good job of encouraging her. Everything seems to be in order and very clean. The care staff has been very thorough in making sure they are meeting the needs of my mother.

Management is wonderful and they're good at communicating. I'm thrilled with the whole facility, the building is beautiful as well. In general all of the food that I've had when I'm there is very good and the dining room is very clean. The activities seem to be excellent. They have trivia games and all kinds of things offered. Before they would take the residents out on the bus to go for ice cream and things, they've been wonderful with the transportation service.

Karla, in management, has always been extremely friendly. She one day helped fed my mom at breakfast, I have to give her kudos. If I have a problem I go to the front desk and she immediately lets the department know. I think the food is very adequate and the variety seems very satisfactory. Another resident told me she went to a great show this afternoon, they have people sing and they dance to the music. Mom just likes to nap, so she's not participating, but they have lots of activities. The apartment cleaning is pretty good. The maintenance guy is so nice. Really, really nice. She had a TV and the maintenance guy set up, he's been really responsive. Some aides are very good, others okay, but there has been some that handle her really well. For my mother I don’t think there's more they could do to keep her comfortable and changed. I would say the price is fair, the value is fair. There's so many challenges with these residents. For the most part they listen and do their best to take care of the residents' needs. For a person with memory issues I would definitely recommend it.

The dining is excellent. They do so much more in activities then what I could have done at home. I was just there yesterday and had a picnic with her. She is always dressed nice. The care givers couldn't do any better. They are there all the time. They are very attentive to my wife. It is the best place I could have put my wife. I couldn't have done better.

The healthcare staff was very attentive to my dad during his time at the Estate. I felt like there was enough staff to help everybody properly. They had a good variety of activities. They kept everybody engaged. I was satisfied with all the services we received for my dad.
