Evergreen Retirement Community

I am satisfied with the services and accommodations. I enjoy the activities and they're consistently offered. I already recommend it to people without comparing the community to others.

In the five years I have lived here the food is good, it's different and my plate is always empty. They do have a good menu variety. Housekeeping is here every week and my apartment is really clean.

My mom lives at Evergreen Retirement Community and I think the place has a good value. I am satisfied with the services and accommodations provided, and she feels safe and comfortable at the community. Everything is always kept clean in her apartment and there seems to be a good variety of activities offered. I am satisfied with the wait service, menu variety and quality of food, so it's been an excellent experience overall.

Management has been really great to my mom. They're very patient, professional and helpful. They have a good menu variety. The activities that my mom goes to she enjoys. Maintenance is very responsive. My mom has one driver that takes her to the doctor, she really appreciates the transportation service.

My loved one has been safe at Evergreen for the past two years. I've eaten there a couple of times and the food has been great. She says it's terrific. They have plenty activities to do and I like the fact that there are activities in the evenings as well. For the most part housekeeping is pretty good and everything we've asked for, the maintenance guys have done. She had a couple of issues and they were addressed quickly. The price is fair, everything seems to be going great.

I chose this community for my mom because it's close to where I live. Management has been very helpful with anything my mom has needed or any questions we've had. My mom hasn't physically eaten in the dining room yet but she really enjoys the fact that she can get her dinner to go and they deliver it to her door. Maintenance was great, we needed help hanging my mom's large pictures and maintenance did a great job. The variety of activities from the list that we've seen seem to be good. The activities person did take my mom for a tour to show her what things are available for her to do.

We did move in and amazingly the managers did an amazing job of transition from one day to the next. We have a brand new chef. The change in the way the vegetables are cooked and presentation, it’s increased quality. The servers are high school and college kids, and I think they do a better job. The food comes to us and lots of it! Maintenance has been great. You follow the system, put a work order in, then somebody is here within a day or two to take care of the problem. I think the activities are adequate, there's probably more than people participate in, including me and my husband. As far as entertainment it's been amazingly, very diverse. Value, in relation to cost, I think for what you're getting, the apartment, the food, the comfort level, it's very good. We're living in our cottage, so it's very comfortable. I would recommend it, very definitely. The thing that makes the Evergreen community so great is not only the campus, it's on 65 acres so it's lovely, but it's the friendliness of the people. I don’t know if that is because of Evergreen or because the people it draws. It's very diverse, very, very diverse. There are no errors, there's lots of joy and happiness. It's pretty great.

I think the dining is good and the food is better than other places I have seen or been to, so it's a nice setup for the residents.It seems like everything seems to run very well and we haven't had any issues.

Mom enjoys the food there and I think the service staff are all very nice. She loves the concerts in the evenings they have with activities. She goes to bingo. She is busy and likes to be active. I think the activities are all good. Her TV wasn't working this weekend and she called maintenance and they came right down and fixed it. She has had a couple things done and they are always very receptive to her needs.

We liked the looks of the community and my mom was able to bring her dog. Management was just very informative and compassionate with what we were going through. We haven't used the laundry but the housekeeping is fine, they empty the garbage.
