Karla, the Director, is charming and she is working to do a good job.The community has things going on all the time and they have entertainers come in which are good and fun. The maintenance is excellent. The building seems to be in good shape. We were buried in snow for a while but they kept the driveway clear. I think the price is fair at this community.

We are back at Flagstone because we like the area. The doctors are here and we like the people very much. My children were adamant we get back in. The room here is fine. We have no complaints about our experience with the maintenance. I think generally things are clean, they appear to be. More than adequate. Tommy is great and his new helper is the same way. I know they offer bingo and activities like that, and the servers are nice, but the dining room is bad. Another resident here has food allergies, she did set an appointment with the chef who did some research and instructed the staff. They really try. If we had to live in the Portland area or the valley, I am sure the rates would be higher. As far as bang for your buck compared to other places I would think it's a good deal for anybody. We have recommended Flagstone to family and friends without a doubt.

We're very happy with the management team. The person in charge is very pleasant to deal with and does all she can to make everyone as happy as she can. She's easy to deal with and she does try to solve any issue we have. Maintenance tries to get everything done and they do a good job.

We chose Flagstone Assisted Living for my parents because of the spaciousness of the two bedroom and two bathroom apartment. In terms of value, there is the added value of security knowing that in case of an emergency, there is someone at the community for them. It also balances out pretty closely with what other places are charging, so I'd the value is good. The maintenance at move-in was amazing because two of the staff worked their butts off for my parents. My mom had difficulty with the spacing of the hangers, but they made it happen and they could continue on moving in. With regards to cleanliness, the apartment was very clean when we moved them in and the building seemed clean, so there have been no complaints at all. The hallways are wide, nicely lit and pleasantly decorated as well. In terms of the dining experience, my parents seem to enjoy the dining very much, the service is good and my husband says the food is very good. Other than dining, they did say a couple a nights ago that they were going to a wine tasting Happy Hour, so that may have been their first social event that they've done. Regarding management, they have the most wonderful people that we have met thus far, so it's been a great experience for them thus far.

I had looked at it three or four years ago when I was looking for a place for my parents to live. The interface with the people and the staff and the management was all very good and very enjoyable and very informative. We moved my 103 year old aunt in there from independent living. Compared to the other places I have seen it is a little bit brighter. In regards to the management, they are nice people and they are friendly and very informative. They are very helpful in answering all the questions that we had. Here the food is fresher and it better tastes. She always comments on how good the food is. She can be very critical but the fact that she likes the food and the way it smells when I walk by makes it seem like a good place to me. They listen and get inputs from the clients and act upon them. There is still a wide range of activities available for them. Everything has been done in a timely manner and very well done. When my wife and I visited we noticed that her bed was made and the floors were clean and things were stacked neatly. The building is immaculate. The maintenance of her room is very good as well. My aunt has people checking on her every two hours. She has the button on her and the care givers respond quickly. She is happy with them and they seem to like her a lot. I ask her if she feels safe and she has a smile on her face and everything is bright and cheery. I am personally very pleased on how she is adapting and how well she seems to like it. She seems comfortable.

I am satisfied here. The management staff are that good. The housekeeping is good. Everything is clean. The maintenance is good. We have a good maintenance guy. He seems to be right on the ball.

The value at Flagstone Assisted Living to me is that I don't have to worry about my father because he feels safe and comfortable in the community. Management has been respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive to his needs. In regards to dining, my dad thinks it's pretty good food in that he likes the options and says that he enjoys the food quality, plus the service is satisfactory. While he doesn't participate in activities by choice, it seems like the residents are always doing something and there are calendars all over the community. In terms of maintenance, my dad really hasn't needed any repairs, but I know that the maintenance guy is very responsive if he needs something lifted, so he has been helpful in other ways. The building always looks very nice too, so the maintenance department has been to my satisfaction. In regards to my dad's care, the healthcare staff has been very responsive towards his needs, so I am happy with the services and accommodations that are provided to him.

This community is well run and I couldn't have found a better place for him. The cleanliness of the community is very good.

The care has been great. Any time we've had questions there is someone there to answer and they work with me on doctor's appointments. I haven't eaten there but she says it's good and she's gained weight since she's gotten there so I guess that's a good testament. When we moved her in maintenance was very helpful and took care of anything that we needed in her room. They have a calendar up with all of the activities on it and I know that when she wants to be she can stay very busy. The staff takes good care of her and she doesn't have to worry about the day to day stuff so it's worth it for us.

I am very pleased and this is home to me. We have beautiful views from this community. It is a nice place and I am quite pleased with my room. You get to make your home in your apartment. I think our Executive Director is an excellent person. She has a heart of gold and cares about us. You couldn't ask for a better person. She is easy to visit with and communicate with. She has made this a great place. The service in the dining room is pretty good. We have one waiter who is top notch. He knows off the bat what you would like for side dishes to start with. He knows what you like to drink but always asks me for sure if that is what I would like. He knows my name but usually calls me sweetie. I don't mind being called that and call him sweetie too. I just had a carrot raisin salad and it was delicious. We had a peanut butter cookie for dessert and it was excellent as well. We have pretty good food. Housekeeping and laundry are good. The housekeeper that does my apartment is great and has been here for 10-11 years. She knows how to clean. The maintenance is excellent. If you have a problem, the maintenance man is here immediately.
