Review for The Forum at the Woodlands

My dad just used the physical therapist and occupational therapist and they were just phenomenal. The PT & OT did such a good job that my dad ended up doing way better than anticipated. They had a very consistent activities schedule. The house cleaning in the apartment was very good, maintenance was wonderful and the dining staff are excellent.

A fair price for the services.

Review for The Forum at the Woodlands

I chose the community becasue it met all the requirements I had for moving into an independent living facility. The management staff are good with communication. The food is excellent. The servers are very accommodating. The housekeeping has been very good. I have used the transportation service and it has worked out very well. All in all it is a fair price.

I made so many friends here!

Review for The Forum at the Woodlands

I lived in The Forum at The Woodlands since February of 2018 and only moved out because I have lived in Conroe since 1962 and I am a Conroe girl. I also have a little dog and needed a fence, so that I could let him out, but I loved the Forum. If my dog didn't hate the leash so much, I would have stayed there forever. There wasn't anything I needed that management didn't immediately do for me. From the highest person I met to the people in the dining room to housekeeping to the yard people, they were all wonderful for me and they were willing to do anything to make anyone happy. In regards to maintenance, I wanted the light fixtures changed out with my chandeliers and the staff immediately did that, so everybody was just really nice. In terms of cleanliness, initially they came a little early for me, but after asking if they'd come later, they absolutely did and laundry was satisfactory. As per activities, the community has something for everybody there, so if you wanted to participate in something, it was there or they'd create it for you. With the dining experience, the quality of food was satisfactory, my server was awesome and so was the lady in charge of dining. Overall, the value of services was fair and the apartment was actually better priced than other communities that weren't as nice, so the place was comfortable. From the day I moved in to the day I moved out, the entire staff went out of their way to be nice to me, so I was immediately welcomed and continued to be while I was there and thus, I can't speak well enough of The Forum. I made many friends and I was so glad to live at the community.

Thrilled with the activities!

Review for The Forum at the Woodlands

This community was chosen for my In-Laws because it is three minutes from us, their brother-in-law lived here so they were familiar with this community and I did pet pals here. I think the price is very reasonable and it is working for them. They are very happy with the food. They love the dining. We dined there several times during the move in process and the food and service was really good. My mother in law is thrilled with the parties and the organization of the activities. She is participating in everything that is offered. I have been very pleased with this community. My mother-in-law has just loved being here.

This, by far, is the best place I looked at!

Review for The Forum at the Woodlands

I chose this community for my dad because of the location and some of the amenities that they have. Management has been very good and very helpful. They made his move-in very easy. The food is pretty good there and the housekeeping is also good. For what you get, two meals a day and everything is pretty much included for the most part, it's a good value. I looked at a lot of places over the last couple of months and this by far is the best place.

Everyone we have encountered is fantastic!

Review for The Forum at the Woodlands

I chose this community for my parents because it was close to the family and we liked the idea that you have the community fee. Cindy signed us up and she was phenomenal. Everyone that we've encountered at The Forum has been fantastic. Maintenance has come several times and they do the best that they can do. They came right away for our issues and have been very prompt. The building is beautiful. The lady that does the housekeeping is very nice and she's very thorough, she's fantastic. The dining and the food is really good and the value with what you get rates pretty well.

Everything is ship-shape to me!

Review for The Forum at the Woodlands

I moved in because I'd been by this place quite a few times, and I really like The Forum. The food is very good. I don’t have to buy it, cook it, and clean up after it; that is one thing that I like. They have different things every night. I did go down to bingo today, and there are plenty of activities. Two times I needed transportation and a very nice lady took me and then came and got me. I feel very safe, and everything is ship-shape to me. I think the price is very good. I couldn’t rent a one bedroom apartment, buy and cook my meals, and do all that that I get here at The Forum.

The service couldn't be greater, just thrilled to be here!

Review for The Forum at the Woodlands

I toured two other communities five minutes from here and we heard things about The Forum, my husband and I toured it and it's like home to us. We have loved everything about our move-in. I was surprised how much we can fit into this apartment. It's amazing how much we got in without it looking crowded. I think the value is good. My husband and I have several issues, but on every menu there is something we can have. Not only that, but the food is so wonderful. The variety plus the choice is great. If you don’t like what is on the daily menu, the left side is always there, it's marvelous. The service couldn’t be greater, it's wonderful. They get to know you and what you like. We've met so many people that are new friends to eat with every day, everyone is so friendly, and it’s great. They have cards, dominos, and things like that. I plan to get into the exercise. Everybody here has been so friendly and helpful. The management team has gone out of their way to help us with our needs. From planning to move-in to all the way through, they could be nicer. They have worked her for years and years, I am impressed with the amount of years people stay here and what they know. Housekeeping is wonderful, we're getting spoiled. Right now they have come to clean once, changed our bed twice, and it's been excellent. Maintenance did switch out the refrigerator and then came back to switch the handle to the other side. He was wonderful and timely. Once you move in you realize it's just wonderful. I am just thrilled to be here.

There are plenty of activities!

Review for The Forum at the Woodlands

The community was recommended by my physician and when I looked at it I liked what I saw. The food is very good, it's delicious. They have really great activities planned for every day, they give you a choices of things you can do. They have line dancing or bingo just about every afternoon, they have days when the group goes to the movies, they go out to restaurants as well, there are plenty of activities. The housekeepers clean up the halls and the one time they came, everything was good. Someone came and hung my pictures and he was very helpful, he was excellent.
