The Forum at the Woodlands

A friend has someone in the Memory Care unit and she told me about this place, so I looked at it. I'm pretty impressed, very impressed with the management team here, they're very responsive. I'm impressed with the dining too. I think the food here is very good, and the service from the wait staff is fantastic. In my opinion they have every activity available. I'm too old for all that now, but I see all the information and I'm very impressed with the organization and set up, and the invitations to join in. Since I moved in maintenance has done a pretty good job with the stuff my husband used to do for me. I know there's been quite an influx of new residents here so they're busy, but I've never had to wait too long. The complex is very good, it's a lovely place. It's a huge place and I think it looks really fine. Housekeeping is fantastic. They're on schedule, I don’t have to worry about that and the people are so nice. I am so impressed that there are employees who have been here a long time. Whatever they're doing, it's the right thing to keep employees. I've lived in other communities; I wish I had lived here instead. I lost my husband a year ago, and the place he picked for us was not the place for me. I like it here, I'm very happy here, and I'd recommend it anytime.

My brother found The Forum, visited, then we all took my mother to visit and she wanted it. It was a little rough in the beginning, she was ill, but she's adjusted and seems to be settling in. Everything we have asked for has been taken care of by the management team. Mom's not a social person, she chooses to stay by herself, but she is going down to the library to get books to read and she has done a few puzzles in the lobby. The community is beautiful, I probably would live there.

My husband and I chose The Forum because it's less than 2 miles from our son and when we came to visit we loved it, everything seemed perfect. The dining experience is wonderful, and bingo and the entertainment are also wonderful. There are plenty of activities, there's mall walking, gin rummy, entertainment, bingo, and more. Housekeeping is wonderful. She does a great job. When we moved in maintenance came and worked on our back door and they've worked on the commode in the first bedroom. They hooked the TV up in the living room. We're safe and comfortable in our cottage here.

My sister moved to this community because our mom is at one of these communities in Florida and they helped us find this community. When my sister was sick, the servers in the dining room delivered her food to her room. This community has a wide variety of activities at this community. The grounds and building are beautiful.

I feel like my father in law got a great quality of care at this community. The staff have been there for a long period of time and they were all happy. The management has been nothing but lovely at every step of our process. My dad started off in independent living, then had to move to the highest level of care. He then got better and was brought down to the middle level of care. We have experienced every area. If he was independent and active this community had enough activities on site and off to keep him entertained. They were able to transport him when I was unable to. The caregivers are great.

My dad loves it there. He calls his apartment his house after only being there a month. The servers in the dining room are very friendly. They call him by name and he loves the attention they give him. I think the food is very good. I am very satisifed with the services he receives from maintenance and housekeeping. We are just very impressed with the longevity of the staff. To keep employees that long that says a whole lot about how the place is run. I see it and the employees feel it.

We chose this community for my mom because it is just beautiful, it is quiet, she liked that she didn't feel like she was in the city. There are a lot of activities offered that my mom in interested in participating in. The maintenance guys here have been quick to do what we have needed done in her apartment. Overall, we are really happy.

I moved in August of 2018 because of the location as well as the larger size of the apartment. Management has been responsve when I've talked with them and housekeeping is excellent. I feel safe here. If you need this type of care, I would recommend it.

My dad and I checked out a couple of senior communities and with this one we liked the history of the place. We heard they'd been there for 30 years, the grounds and building look nice, and we had two personal recommendations. He moved in this August. Dad thinks there's a nice, wide variety of food, and he really likes the exercise classes, the fitness and the yoga. He's glad for the Housekeeping's efficient service, friendliness, and promptness. Transportation has a lot of options available for dad. Everybody is extremely friendly. I actually have recommended it already to friends.

It's a beautiful area and this was the one place I felt they would be safe. It just feels decent compared to some of the other places I looked at. There are a lot od amenitities offered so my parents so that is nice. I ate with them the first time and they seemed pleased with everything there. All in all, I am satisfied.
