Fountain View Village

It is near by and it had a good reputation. I had seen it before and I was impressed with it. I thought it was a good place to go. So far the management has been responsive. Things are going well. I am impressed with them. All of the staff is very good and conscientious and are always thinking of things to help the residents. I think the food is great. The fact that they give you other choices if you don't like the entrée is terrific. I think the activities that they offer are great. They are always coming up with something new. Everything is very nice. The maintenance staff were very responsive in helping my mother set up her pictures on the walls. The building is very clean and very well maintained. You wouldn't know that you are in a senior residence. They are really helpful, very caring and very nice. Anytime I have changes with her meds they have been very helpful.

Penny, in management, was very helpful, the people at the reception desk are extremely helpful, and Betty in dining was just wonderful. The maintenance guys were really good about getting things done and I thought the transportation services were really great, they were on time with the schedule. Their frontline healthcare staff was just wonderful people, the caregivers, the nurses, they really were just top notch people, I can't give them enough credit, I was very impressed with them. Everybody was very friendly and they would come right away, if something happened and they pushed the button, they showed up, they were just very good people. That's probably the best thing I can say about the facility is the frontline people were just on top of things. Certainly in the Fountain Hills area, they're by far the best option there. Everybody was very nice, helpful and friendly; they knew what they were doing and took care of things.

My husband and I have been pleased with living at Fountain View Village because of the services and accommodations provided. Management has been very good with everything that we have wanted, plus they're respectful, knowledgeable and accessible. Regarding dining, the menu variety is satisfactory and the dining service is really good. While we don't participate in activities, the community seems to offer a lot of things that go on, so I think the activities are well planned. I have also been satisfied with the consistency of housekeeping services because it's been very good and the building's maintenance is very good too, so it's been a satisfactory experience for us at the community.

My mother has since passed away, but I was very happy with everything at Fountain View Village. We never had any issues with management and any time I ever needed anything, they always got right back to me, so they were great. While I only ate at the community once, the food was very good and my mom always liked it, so the variety of menu was satisfactory for her. Regarding activities, it seemed like they were fine and they had a nice variety of things offered. Also, any time I needed anything hung or fixed, the maintenance staff was right on it and both, the apartment and building's maintenance were satisfactory. In terms of transportation offered, she thought it was really good and I was satisfied with the condition of the vehicles, flexibility and consistency at which it was offered to her. Overall, I was satisfied with the price, services and accommodations provided because she felt safe and comfortable during her experience at the community.

I know where I had my brother before, it was a lot more expensive, he was in one of those group homes. I think it's fine what we're getting for what the services are. The building is very nice and the staff does a wonderful job with activities, there is someone that comes in every day to entertain them. The caregivers are absolutely wonderful, they're just lovely people.

My mom is safe there. I know she goes to get her hair and nails done. Housekeeping is fine, as is maintenance. They make sure to fix issues as soon as they can. There's no odors, they've been really great about that. The care givers get her up, dressed, and down to the meals, that part is fine. It's the top of the bunch. I am sure we're getting what we pay for.

They offer a lot of activities to the residents. I've used the transportation a couple of times and it was great. Maintenance is timely in their response and housekeeping is very good too.

My mother has lived there for five years and the management has always been respectful. The family has eaten there and the food is fine. Terri, the Activities Director, has taken my mom under her wing and mom loves her. She does practically all the activities on the calendars. She takes the community van trips for shopping to the stores and grocery store. The care givers are very attentive and I get regular texts when she needs medicine refills or they have a question. Mom seems to like them. My mother has fallen a number of times, it's her issue, and they respond quickly and it's been very good. They call 'til they get me. Maintenance has helped fix and hang things in her room, very attentive. We’re very satisfied with the value, and I've told a number of people about it.

I think the management does wonderful. I am amazed at this place. I am not a great cook and I think the menu is really good and they have nice choices. The servers are so sweet. I don't get into all of them but they have so many of them that anybody that wants to be active can be active. The housekeepers are wonderful too. The building is beautiful. I feel like I moved into a five star resort hotel. In regards to the transportation, they have a list if you want to go certain places on a certain day. They are fairly organized as far as I can see. Fountain View is the best in the valley. I have made many new friends here and we all take care of each other.

My space is absolutely wonderful. I can fit everything in there that I need. The food and activities are excellent. They have a bus in transportation that will take my go cart. I can sit on my go cart and be lifted on the bus and stay there until I am lifted off.
