Fountain View Village

I would say given a comparison of rates in other states and similar facilities, I felt it was a good value. They had all kinds of things going on all the time. The calendar was posted and everybody knew what was coming up. They tried to keep the residents engaged and moving around. It all looks like it's in good condition and whenever there was an issue, whether it was the TV or the bed, maintenance was very responsive. The caretakers are saintly and very overworked but they have a very hard job. They put up with a very difficult person so they deserve an A plus. My father needed a lot of care. It was hard on them but they tried to hustle and do what they could, they had a big area to cover. They were there and they worked really hard.

The food is very good here. They have a nice selection on the menu. They are doing a good job cleaning and coming consistently to our room. Everything is maintained very well. The staff is very helpful. The last year has been good. It's a little expensive, but it's a good value.

The management team seems to be doing a good job with my mother and it seems well run. They always get right back to me when I've got a question. The nursing is great. Her visiting doctor is excellent. The care staff is Johnny on the Spot with her medications. They're right on it anytime she pushes her button. They know what they're doing, which is a relief. The housekeeping and maintenance has been great and the building doesn't smell at all. It's been great; everyone gets back to me whenever I have a concern.

Everybody just wants to be heard and Richard, the new Executive Director, gives them respect. If they keep it up, it's great, and it will be even greater. The community is being spiffed up and is looking better. Transportation is a great service to have. Ms. Larson, in activities, does an outstanding job. She has so many types of people to consider and does a very good job, and always has a pleasant attitude. I am pleased and my mom is pleased, she calls it, "My community," and she's been very happy there.

My wife chose it because it was convenient and she'd heard some good things about it. The room seems to be clean, and the housekeepers are helpful. As I walk through the community it's nice and clean, and everything works. Transportation is fine. They've used it to take her to doctors and hospitals. She hasn’t complained about it at all. So far it seems to be fine. I'm basing all of my thoughts on what my wife has given me.

I think the value is good here at the moment. The activities they offer keep us busy. Terry, the Activities Director does a real good job. The food is generally good. From time to time when little things happen that need to be fixed, Kevin has helped us out. He's very good. We've recommended it to people because we like it here.

I think the price is a good value for the services received. I'm very happy here. The staff is great. You could do something every day to entertain yourself. I think the housekeeper does wonderful with the laundry. I use the transportation for my doctor visits. It's very comfortable and they're very helpful. The vehicle is in good condition. I'm just happy here!

I've already recommended it to a lot of people. It's beautiful, everything is beautiful out here, I was very impressed. The food tastes good and it's healthy, it's good food. I just go and get what I want and it's always available. Everyone is so nice out here; they're extra nice and make an effort to get you acquainted with everyone. Everyone that lives out here is friendly. It's been very great. I feel very safe.

We chose the community for my siblings for the price and it was everything they were looking for. They feel as though they have moved up in the quality of living from where they have lived and they're very excited about the different programs that Fountain View has. Management was willing to put furniture in their unit before their furniture arrived and they were pleased with that. They take advantage of the laundry services and they are very impressed that the ladies keep their clothes separate. They enjoy going to the Casino and Bingo regularly. The healthcare staff is very friendly and responsive. It's been a good experience.

The food is delicious. The servers are excellent. They are nice young people. The activities director is wonderful. The maintenance department is very good. They are knowledgeable. We report any issues to the concierge desk, and he checks every morning. I'm here because they have drivers! It is very simple to schedule a ride. My son chose this place and he checked the drivers because he works all day. The vehicle is very good. The busses are nice and clean. The men help you in and out. It is really nice. I am very comfortable here.
