Fox Point

My dad’s been there a couple of years, and they do a lot of activities. Housekeeping seems to be fine, and we’re satisfied with maintenance. He’s happy with the care givers. Overall, he is safe and comfortable.

I have lived at Fox Point for 3 years now and have recommended people to at least come see this place because I like it very much. I really like my apartment, and the management staff is respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive to my needs. The dining room is lovely and the wait service is all great. The music offered is entertaining of course and the women in charge of the activities work hard to provide a variety of things for the residents, so I appreciate that because it's a good, all around type of entertainment that they provide. My apartment cleaning and laundry have both been satisfactory, so I am pleased with the consistency of service in that department. As with housekeeping, the apartment, building and consistency of maintenance services have been satisfactory too. I use transportation at times when we go to the lunches and the condition of the vehicles and flexibility of service has been satisfactory. With regards to my care, I just find the healthcare staff to be hard working and always with a smile on their face. If you aren't feeling 100%, the Nurses try to help you by suggesting things to ease the pain with Tylenol or something and as far as the caregivers are concerned, I find them to be very, very caring girls. Overall, it's been a great experience for me at this community.

This community is wonderful and the price is very fair. My mom really loves the food. We had checked out other places and they would never match up to what is offered here and the staff here.

The food quality here is fine and the servers are very nice and patient. They really try hard and seem to have some kind of an activity most all day. The management team has been good. Housekeeping is very good, and I’m satisfied with the maintenance here. I'm satisfied here, very satisfied. I am glad I made the move. All of the staff has been very friendly and nice, so I am very happy here.

The front desk, Janice and Maryanne are awesome and Kate is one of the best nurses there. The building looks really nice outside. Dining seems fine and everything else is alright.

I am very happy here at Fox Point. I don't have any complaints with anything that the management handles. I think they do a good job. In all the other departments they do a good job of managing. I am happy with all those people who are in those positions. The activities are fantastic. I don't know how they do it but they think of all kinds of things for our benefit including going out of the building and out for lunch and all kinds of things that this age group can handle. They have a lot of improvement for our minds and a lot of fun games that makes us think. I think they are wonderful. I don't know how they could do any better. Housekeeping right now we have some excellent girls. I am really happy with the way my apartment is cleaned. It is thorough. The bathrooms are done nicely and the shower is kept very clean. The bus is adequate and it takes people to where they want to go and I think they service is good for people who don't drive.

The care staff are wonderful. They're very attentive, they know what they're doing and they're caring. They have a wonderful variety of activities and try to include everyone in the activities. My mom's apartment is always very clean and the laundry is done nicely. Everything seems to be in order, neat and working properly. The food is typical and the service is wonderful.

Management is very accommodating, nice, and professional, they're just really good. I think there are plenty of activities, there are a lot and it covers a wide range. There's always something going on and everybody is involved. Housekeeping is efficient and nice, I was happy to see that someone was promoted from cleaning staff to front desk staff; I thought that was such a wise move. The people in the cleaning staff really care about the residents and their job. Maintenance especially is very good; they get on it within the hour and make sure everything looks nice. The people are proud of their jobs, they're all proud of what they do and they're concerned for the residents, I've seen that at all levels of staff. The transportation services are very accommodating and the healthcare staff is very dedicated, they're all willing to help and are all concerned. They really take care of their people; they have empathy, they're very happy to be working there. They're very proud of what they do and everyone is just pleasant, I can't say enough about the people that work there.

I don't know what I would do if they weren't there because I cannot handle my uncle by myself. They watch over him and it is a nice safe environment for him. They all seem to know him and call him by name. That means a lot to my uncle and myself. Management has been helpful and the dining is very good. He has a good selection, the food looks good and the tables have tablecloths on them. It is very nice. This community has singers come in and he enjoys listening to them. They always have their activities listed. Everything is maintained well in the building. I always see them out there working on things. There are always flowers and some sort of decoration outside where the residents sit. The transportation was very good when he used it. I am very pleased with the caregivers. They call me anytime they are concerned about him. They let me know if he is out of pills. They contact me if he doesn't feel well. They watch over him and care for him.

The care staff does a good job of taking care of my mom, I don't have any complaints with the level of care. They do a very good job with the activities and there are multiple activities every week that are very helpful and beneficial for the residents. The facilities are very well maintained, if there are problems they get addressed right away. The housekeeping and laundry people do a good job as well. Overall I'm very satisfied with the services, the facility and the staff.
