Garden Estates of Tyler

I have been here for four years and I love it. Management is personable, the dining service is very good and there is a good variety. We have very good activities and we had bus trips almost every Friday. Housekeeping does a very good job and maintenance usually comes pretty fast. The transportation is very good.

The community is a nice place and I feel very fortunate to be here. The healthcare staff is very good, there is enough of them overall and they come fairly quickly. The transportation services are excellent, flexibility is adequate and we have a driver that see to it we get to where we need to go. I have had very good luck with the maintenance department and the building is very nice. I have a wonderful housekeeper does an excellent job. We have a number of activities here and there is something usually here for everyone. There are a lot of residents here with different tastes and food choices, but they do their best to accommodate all of us. Management is very professional, supportive, helpful and they listen. Overall, I feel safe and comfortable at the community.

I am perfectly content here. I like the people who work here and I like soul food and home cooking, and they serve that. Our servers are excellent.

The management has been fine, and they have been accessible and responsive so far. In regards to the dining, I have eaten there myself many times, and I think the food is good. The service in the dining area is really good as well. The care givers have done everything that they needed to do. My mom has the same med tech that she had before, and I really like her. They seem to be respectful.

The staff has all been so friendly and helpful. With the food and activities, we are so very satisfied with Karen living there. She says the food is good, and she likes the variety. The servers are excellent. They are very conscientious about refilling beverages and asking if you need anything. They try and find activities to involve everyone. She enjoys the bingo and the beanbag baseball. Everytime I go there, her apartment is very clean, and my cousin is not a neat person. She schedules the transportation to go places and to Walmart. The driver is so courteous and helpful. They make it really easy for everyone that have special needs.

The building is maintained perfectly. It always looks nice and clean. She loves it. I think everybody in there is very friendly. We are very happy with it. I have had no problem with the healthcare. When I call with anything, they have done it. It always looks nice and clean. They empty her garbage morning and night. Tey come in and vacuum, and they offer to do her laundry. I think they do a very good job. My mom does a lot of things there, and she is happy with that. I have the phone numbers of the management staff, and I call them. They help with everything.Everyone is so nice and friendly. They know her name, and they even know my name. That makes you feel good when you go in there. We are very happy.

I think they are doing a great job. In dining, the servers are great. They are super and right there. If he needs anything extra, they go get it. They are just great people in there. Housekeeping keeps it all clean. Management have been very helpful, and they are trying to help him to adjust to something completely different. The care staff is respectful, accessible, and responsive.

I would not move anywhere else in Tyler because I am satisfied here. We have the sweetest, best staff here. I have to give a lot of credit to Carla, our director. She is young, decisive, and she listens to us. She is on her toes about what needs to be done and is getting it done as fast as she can. We have a new bus to use in transportation. The driver is very nice and he knows Tyler and all the streets. He is so sweet and patient. The housekeeper is sweet, kind, and loveable.

Management accommodated us in our time of need, and they were always responsive. The nursing staff was very attentive, helpful, caring and everything. The head nurse and the assistant nurse were excellent. They were knowledgeable and respectful. I would live there myself.

Management speaks to you everytime you pass through. The food is pretty good, they have good dining service and the activities are good too. The housekeepers do a good job cleaning and the transportation is excellent. The drivers know where they are going and what they are doing.
