Gardens of Shiloh Point

Everybody here was super great. My mother said the food was okay, they did a good job with the activities, and housekeeping and maintenance did a wonderful job. The med techs here impressed me. They went the extra mile to work with my mother and did a really good job. This community is great and they were wonderful with my mom.

Mom is so happy there. Everybody is so incredibly nice there and goes above and beyond I can't tell you how happy we are and how much mom and my sister and I love this place. I think the management is doing an awesome job. My mom is very pleased with the food and the service. My mom jokes about how they keep her busy all day. The maintenance guy does a great job. The building is beautiful and housekeeping is just amazing as well. The care givers come in and check on her and to see if she needs anything.

My wife and I moved to Cumming so I wanted her to be near me, and we're 10 minutes away. I have been there when my mom is eating and the food seems to be very good, much better than average. No complaints at all with the food. They have activities that my mom is interested in and she participates in them. They have calendars at the front when you walk in and a monthly one in the mailboxes of residents. They have people come in to sing all the time. Housekeeping does my mom's laundry once a week, she's very happy with that, and they clean her apartment once a week. I never see it dirty. Mom tells me the Med Techs giver her medicine to her twice a day and the aides check on her every two hours. I have seen them come to her room to tell her it's time for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, so they do an excellent job. I give everyone high praises for the community and for everyone’s attitudes. Everyone has an excellent attitude there. Lisa is the Director, she is awesome. She has a great personality and greets people as they come in. Ada the Business Manager, Tara the Head Nurse and Cindy the Activities Coordinator, are all awesome. They really seem to care about the resident and their families. I could not be more pleased. At this point we feel we are getting what we are paying for.

We chose this communtiy for my mother because it is a five star and it is close to my house. The management has met all my needs. Anything I have asked or needed she has done or given me an answer to. She has been more than helpful. They do offer so many activities. The care staff are outstanding. They are great. I know my mother is taken care of. All in all, I think it is a great community.

The Gardens of Shiloh Point provides a lot of things and so far, we are totally satisfied with what is going on. These people always remember your name, always ask you if you need help with anything and have been so efficient through the whole process of moving my father into the community. The dining and activities are great too, my dad has gone over to play Bingo, is doing several things and they also seem to have people coming in and out for the residents, so I'd say they do quite a good job with their activities department. Housekeeping is very good, maintenance is right there if you need him to do anything and when you place your loved one in a home, you expect for them to be taken care of so the healthcare staff have done a super job so far.

I felt like the community was more intimate and homey for my mother and I have a friend whose mother is there and her opinion meant a lot to me too. The management is very genuine, warm and receptive to anything I've needed or asked for, and I do feel like they're very accessible to me. My mom thinks breakfast is the best meal and I think they do a really good job with activities because they have such a varying scale of what peoples' aptitudes are. Rafael in maintenance was just fantastic when we were moving in, I couldn't have asked for anybody to be nicer or more efficient. I think we're getting what we pay for, we pay a premium for what we get, but also I like the genuine love and care and the service attitude that we get from the top down.

My mom moved into this community because we had a referral from a head hunter who checks out different communities in the area we were looking in. Everybody at this community has been very good to us so far. Management has done an excellent job with us. The staff bring my mom out to the general group and she is doing well with that. This community is very clean and they have a nice seasonal decoration when you come into the community. If the caregivers cannot answer my question right off the bat, they get back to me in a timely manner.

I am shocked that the management staff know who I am and know my name. They have great commuication and are all intuned with one another. I am beyond impressed and I love how they take care of things. My mom is getting regular meals and she is getting up for all of them. She has a routine now which is good for her because she was skipping meals before she moved in. Everybody I have met there has a great disposition. I feel like she is at summer camp and always has something to do. They have told me that she participates in almost every activity. The housekeeping is good. Everytime I have visited her laundry has just been picked up or brought back. They are keeping up with the transportation really well. The staff just all look like they want to be there.

It's very comparable to everywhere else so I think it's a fair price for the services and quality of service my uncle gets and the people. Any time he has called for maintenance, he's right there and has it fixed right away. I think they're great, I think everyone there is terrific. Management has been a terrific support and terrific help. They're very responsive and respectful.

I did community service there years ago and I just always thought how nice and kind everybody was. It's a nice and loving place for my mother. They've been very good to my mom. All the girls are very caring and do their best and really, really try. I think the activities are great; they do music on Wednesdays and do parties. The dining and housekeeping have both been doing well. I think the management does a great job. I think my mom is comfortable there; it's a comfortable setting for her.
