The Garnet of Casa Grande

I get what I want and what I need is right there. I never have to worry about it. I feel like I'm at home. The girls are like my daughters. We get everything. What these people do is wonderful. You can't imagine how wonderful it is. It's food that I love to eat. The servers are wonderful and always come to check if I'm okay or need anything. I don't have to worry about anything. They take care of everything for me. They're right there when I need anything. They take me where I'm going and they pick me up and bring me back. The lady who drives helps us get on and off the bus. They take care of all my meds and make sure I take them on time. They make me feel like I'm somebody very special.

I'm glad I'm in here because I feel safe and secure. I have recommended the place to several people and I had one person move in because of that. Management is very professional. They treat us like we are family. I go to them with everything I want to say. When I ask for any help at all, the staff is there very quickly. I accidentally hit the button once and they were here immediately. I use transportation often and it is quite good. The driver is great. Whenever I've needed maintenance, they are here right away. We love the activities, except now we are locked up. But they did come down the hall a little while ago with a shamrock float. That was our activity for St. Patrick's Day.

It's a good value. They do a really good job there so we're happy. They are a great staff. I know he can order whatever he wants. I know there are pretty good activities there. Any time there has been an issue, it's resolved pretty quickly. He uses his call button a lot and they respond quickly.

I wish we would have done this a long time ago. It isn't a nursing home and I wish we would have done this three years ago right after my mom passed. It is the best thing we every could have done for him. There is enough activities for him. He likes to play bingo. The times we have needed the maintenance staff they have come right away. The care is great. I have not had any problem with any. When we have asked them to get something for him they take care of it. I think they are very attentive.

I have lived here eight years and I have loved every minute of it. At this stage in life, there is no place I would rather be. I recommend it all the time. Sometimes in the hallway, we meet new people who are checking out the place and I am very free with my opinion. They distribute my medications and when I need somebody, I use my buzzer and it doesn't take long for somebody to come. I know everybody and I just love the caregivers. I have told Tammy that they are so good about getting new people. The new people will come in and the older people will train them. The system must be wonderful because the results are very good. I have very few difficulties and when I do go to Tammy, she is very quick to help me. The bus driver couldn't be better. She is so helpful and I notice how she helps people other than me. Her name is Linda and she is so good with the residents. She is very patient. She takes me to appointments when I don't have a friend to take me. Anytime I have the least thing, I get in touch with maintenance and before the day is out, whatever it is has been taken care of. In eight years, I've had only a few things that needed to be taken care of. I needed a ceiling fan installed and one of the maintenance men came and did it and his attitude was wonderful. Tony, who is in charge of maintenance, is one of my best friends. The grounds are always beautiful and well taken care of. Tf I need my quilt or something big laundered, they are ready to do it for me right away. The lady, Rachel, who is in charge and does the laundry is absolutely marvelous. Her attitude is so wonderful. Nothing is ever too much for her. I praise her because she is doing such a good job. I do appreciate the fact that I could be doing something different every hour of the day. I think that is wonderful. The people who are the heads of activities are wonderful and act like they actually like us. What I appreciate most about the dining is that we have lots of choices. I for one have been very happy with the food. The service is marvelous. I love my apartment. I do have one of the bigger apartments, the two bedroom and two bath apartment, and I've had it since I moved in.

We chose the community for my mother because after touring several other communities, it just seemed to be the most professional and warm. I immediately had a high trust level and I instantly felt from the first phone call that this might the place. The care staff is attentive, knowledgeable, calm, calming and they don't overstep their bounds. They seem to have really good training on helping someone in the transition phase. She thinks highly of their transportation, the housekeeping is great and the building looks attractive. She has never said anything bad at all about the dining and they encourage her to participate in activities. Management is very sympathetic and I especially appreciate that phone calls are returned immediately. Overall, the community is surprisingly affordable for the quality we're getting.

I can't speak highly enough about the people there. With her situation, it is the best. We looked at several facilities in town, and that was the very best. We heard lots of good things about them, and they were all true. I have been very pleased. They are always very kind, compassionate, and understanding. If we are having a problem, they work with us and get it fixed. They are also very kind to my mom, and I appreciate that. The cleaning is great. My mom's apartment is always clean, and she loves the ladies who clean it. She trusts them. The care staff is awesome. All of the med techs there are great. If they are having any problem at all, they give me a call right away.

When I was looking for a place for my mom to move into, I looked at a bunch of different places and this one stood out. They are head and shoulders above anyone else in Casa Grande. I think they are very caring. I get updates and phone calls. I can't argue with the service. I think it is an excellent facility. It is an excellent value for what you get. My mom always gets what she wants to eat. There is always an alternative. If she isn't feeling up to going they will always bring her a meal. I think there is a wide variety that covers any dietary need you may have. The activities are very engaging and very stimulating. I think maintenance is excellent. They are quick to respond. There is usually no follow up needed as they do it the right way the first time. One of the reasons why I moved her in there is she was forgetting to take medicine and messing it up by living on her own. Ever since she has been there she has had no issues with that. The med techs and the staff are very nice and accommodating. I think they do a great job.

It is best place I've ever been in and I've been in a few. It is the best place in Arizona. The value is unbelievable. It is the best apartment I've ever had. Even the director himself works to clean the place up. They have plenty of activities to do. The housekeeping is very good. They do the laundry once a week and come back and hang it up. The maintenance come usually the same day. The care is excellent.

The people that work there are extremely accommodating and friendly. They are really accessible when I go by there. I can find someone if I have a question about my mom. I can call them or they will call me if they need to tell me something. It is very bright when you walk in so you don't think you are in a dungeon. The outdoor patio is nice for someone to be able to get outside and get some fresh air.
