Gracemont

We chose this community because it's very close to our son. We were very impressed with the beauty of the lake and the homes themselves are very nice. Management is very accomodating and Brittany is very friendly and great to work with. The food is very good, they have such a variety in food and the servers are excellent too, they work very hard. Housekeeping came in and they were fast and they were good. I plan on trying to play some Mexican Train this weekend and hopefully I'll get into the other activities. You get out of the activities what you put into it as well.

I chose Gracemont for my father because the community was close to me. I know it's not a 5 star restaurant, but the meals have been good, the resident say the breakfasts are delicious and the dining service has been satisfactory. With regards to management, I see the Assistant Director often and I have been impressed by her. Others in management, who work in the colonial, have also just gone out of their way to help father feel welcome. In terms of maintenance, the community is kept clean and he did need a bathroom cabinet, but the maintenance department installed a new one for him as well as a TV. When I visit, his room is always clean, his bathroom is always clean and his laundry is kept up with. With activities, they're offered for the residents consistently and they seem to have a lot of them for the residents to do. In regards to value, for what they're providing between the room and meals, I have been happy with the price. The apartment is perfect and I really like how there is not a lot of windows. He is in the Colonial building, so he has 4 windows and it's fabulous. Overall, it's been a positive experience and I have already recommended the community to others.

I chose Gracemont for my mother because the community was pretty close to our home and they have two different buildings, with one being smaller, so she just liked that cozier feel. I think the value is great. We looked at other places and the prices were all similar, but as far as having a variety of choices in what her room and housing situation was going to look like, plus the interaction with the staff, it's been a great deal. It was a process getting her in there with all the Doctor paperwork, but management was really good with following up with me. Everything so far has been top notch and there hasn't been anything I needed that wasn't immediately provided by management. My mother has said on several occasions how good the meals are, including that they serve dessert with every meal, so she is satisfied with the dining experience. She has really enjoyed the exercise classes because she wasn't doing much of anything and they have been good with putting a calendar in her room with making sure that she is going, which is something that I was definitely looking for. The community itself is beautiful and with regards to her care, the staff has been great. Every time I walk in, someone makes sure that they speak to me, whether it's the Nurse, med tech or whoever. Overall, with the way the staffing works and the activities offered at the community, I think it's well worth it and would definitely recommend it to others, no doubt.

I think the value for this community is compatible with other places in the area. The management staff has always returned my calls or I have been able to get in touch with someone when I have had concerns. I have seen that they have a lot of activities going on. They did a real good job of getting my dads room all set up. It always looks clean and doesn't have an odor like some of the other facilities. The outside is well kept. In terms of care, if I have a question or anything I can ask them and that will help me or get me the answer.

We chose this community for Mom because it was close to where we live and we had heard positive feedback from other's who has had family members there. Mom feels safe and comfortable here. The housekeeping service is really good and there are plenty of activities to particpate in. I am pleased with the service we have received from the maintenance department.

Gracemont was just so clean and pretty that we decided to move my mother down here. So far it's great, she likes it, she has friends, the food is wonderful, the building is just wonderful, and the scenery is gorgeous. My mother says she loves the place so for her to say that is wonderful. The cook and the food are excellent, I ate there twice and the flavor is fantastic. Housekeeping keeps the place very clean, it's clean everywhere. My mother loves all the people, they're all very, very nice to her. We're very happy at this place.

The community was close to my home and the room was nice with a nice view of the lake. My dad likes the food and the healthcare services are very good. Housekeeping is going well and there have been no maintenance issues. They just put in new carpeting and it looks nice.

The value is excellent. We've only participated in a few things in the year or so we've been here. It's been excellent. They keep us up to date on what's going on with the schedule.Housekeeping has been excellent and our room here was great. We have had no problems with the management and would highly recommend Gracemont.

They do a good job with housekeeping.

Management answers all of our questions throughout the process of moving my mom in. The caregivers are very nice and treat her well. Everything has been clean, they’ve done what they've said they'll do in regards to housekeeping and laundry. Mom does a lot of the activities. I've been satisfied.
