Gracemont

We’re very happy with the dining and food service. The menu is fine. We tried out the Sunday brunch, that was a very good idea. We're still in the process of unpacking, so we haven’t done too many activities. We did go out for a dinner on the bus they had, that was good. Housekeeping is very good and so is maintenance. The people, the staff, the location, and the community fits like a T. We are very happy here.

I think the value is very good. It's a beautiful place and I don't feel like I stepped down in my living accommodations. I came from a really big beautiful house and now I'm going into a smaller apartment but it's beautiful and I love it. I did go on one trip to lunch and it was fun. The outside stuff looks really good and it's kept trimmed. When I needed help hanging mirrors, the maintenance guy came over right away.

It's awesome, I love Gracemont. They're all very good. It's great, they're really clean and they're always around. You can always find the maintenance and cleaning people. She has gotten more active and it's really nice. The people there have been super nice. Nancy and Brittany have both gone out of their way to help my mom. They have been super. The management has gone out of their way to be nice. I'm very pleasantly surprised. It's just working out really nice I think.

Management did a very good job with everything. The quality of food was good. My mother had everything she needed and was probably in one of the most peaceful states she could have been. Housekeeping did a really good job. The healthcare staff was really good. The people that I encountered were genuine people. They actually treated my mother as well as the residents like they really care about them. It was great.

The caretakers are awesome. They were very aware of how the changes are to a person that lives there and were very accommodating and patient and cheerful. They're very respectful to the individual's needs. Maintenance was very helpful. Everything that we asked about has been taken care of immediately and with a smile. I was comfortable enough to leave the state for two weeks after only a few days of him being there. Everyone is always very friendly and kind. I've been very impressed so far. It's excellent.

We looked at several places and all of us liked Gracemont. We liked Nancy; she was very good at her job. It's a pretty place and my aunt also lived there. I definitely would recommend it. The staff is all good; they're very nice and polite. The administrative staff has been very respectful and helpful. The room is very nice and everyone really likes it.

We think it's reasonable, we shopped around, and so have no real complaints there. My mother's really liking the dining, she's very happy. The maintenance team helped with the TV and they did great. Everything has been taken care of. We're pretty happy at this point.

This community was chosen because of the location. She wanted to stay in the same area she was at. The administrative staff have been very responsive and answered any questions that came up before or after my mom's move-in. She has been very happy with the food. There are so many activities for the residents to partake in. Anytime my mom needs help, they are there to help her.

The community was chosen for my parents because of the "the location, the price per square footage, and the facility overall and view were nice and fit my requirements the best. The management staff answers my questions and calls me back. My parents really like the food. The staff has been very persistent in trying to get my mom to participate because she is not very social. So far the cleaning has been great. The room is always tidy when I visit. They keep up with the laundry. The care staff has been great. My parents love them.

Location was the main thing, we wanted something nearby, and so this was the best spot. She did look at one other Five Star property called Gardens of Gainesville but liked Gracemont better for independent living, more condo-like, not apartments. She's gone out on a couple of the trips and really enjoyed it. The maintenance staff has been great. They're nice guys and doing a great job. She seems to be happy with the activities and that's really one of the main reasons why we did this. She's not really utilizing them completely yet but they seem to be thorough. I was there one time and dining was wonderful. I haven't heard any complaints from her so I would say it's excellent.
