Grand Victorian of Rockford

I feel very secure. I don't have a fear of being left alone, which has been great. I don't have a fear of falling because someone is there to help you. They make sure that you are safe and sound so it has been excellent. The peace of mind for my family is helpful. Management has all been wonderful and very open. They announce things when needed and they check on you. Everything has been great. Whoever comes in has been right on top of everything. One person was concerned about my foot and a nurse did come to look and everything was fine. I appreciate that they noticed and didn't drop it. They followed through. They come and check on me, which is nice. I think have personal knowledge of what each resident wants and they anticipate it. They are very nice about it. The dining has been excellent. From what they have out, there is always something that you can eat. It has all been very good. The service is great too. They are really fast. Sometimes your food is there within the minute. Everyone is attentive and kind and they know your name. The grounds are very beautiful. They are kind about cleaning and ask if I need laundry done at certain times. It is very timely and they consider you. There are a lot more activities than I thought they would have. They have a nice variety.

She has an incredible place. She has said that she feels safe and comfortable. John is running a wonderful facility. I am very pleased with him. Denise and Debbie are so supportive and helpful. Overall, she is quite happy with housekeeping and she just raves about maintenance.

The management does a really good job, and it seems like they really care about the residents. The housekeeping and laundry has been pretty good.

Management is great. They get ahold of me when there is an issue and they make sure that everything is being taken care of. They are really good about communication and handling anything that goes wrong. My grandparents are pretty happy and pretty satisfied with the food. I see the different events that they are having and it looks like they are keeping the residents pretty entertained. Housekeeping is great and the building looks pretty good. The care seems to be going really well here. This one of the more expensive places around but it is a nice place and I know they are being taken care of. I don't have to worry about poor maintenance or them being bored or neglected. We spend more but have a piece of mind.

Things are working out very well. The buildng is beautiful. The food is good and the servers are excellent. The activities are very good. They have a lot of stuff going on all the time. They have movie days, they have burthday parties…they have all kinds of stuff. The care is very good. The care givers tend to stay there. They are not there for a month and gone. They know my mom by name and they will come in and chat with her.

The management is wonderful. The first day I walked in there they had some music going on. It was pretty awesome. The housekeeping and the laundry service is very good. My brother in law is very happy with that. The building is very nice and it always smells very good. The healthcare service is going very, very good.

Management takes care of the residents very well, the dining staff gives him what he wants, the housekeeping is good quality and maintenance is right on the ball. The residents are always going on trips and they have music a couple times a month. He really loves it here.

The nurses are outstanding. They always call. The aides are always attentive. Carlos, the maintenance man, is awesome. He is attentive and responsive in a timely manner. Even if it's something little, he figures out a way to get it done. We've never run into an issue with the housekeeping. Denise, the activities director, is an all star. They always have something going on. There's never a time when my mom doesn't have something to do. I've never heard my mom complain of food that she's gotten. Managment is just outstanding at all levels. John is very personable. He listens to the things that I suggest or say. He just creates a feeling of home for them. Liz, at the front desk, is awesome. She's super friendly and sweet. Debbie, who handles the billing, is awesome and always communicates if there is an issue. They have a great management team. We couldn't be happier. It's affordable and it's high quality. That whole place is just high class. I can't say enough good things about them.

The building is very pretty and the entrance looks great. It's the most inviting place in the area! There is a great variety of choices, the activities are wonderful and the staff is great. Management is relatable, caring, supportive and responsive to our concerns. We haven't changed services in the 2 years my mother has been there and nothing has changed, so we've been thrilled.

This community has been great. It's comforting to me to know that my father is safe, engaged, and content in the community. It's a nice facility, in general people are really nice and welcoming. I think people seem genuinely happy there, and there's a lot going on.
